I love the loading screens, the characters and so far the plot - the combat and having a voiced character has made me enjoy this so much, but it has been a bit linear.

This rating isn't final though, as I didn't finish the game yet. The reuse of questareas for sidequests is just a bit annoying, but other than that, I love it so far.

Its a shame that so many people have beaten the game down without even getting past the first act. I think, without comparing it to other games in the genre, it is a phenomenal game. And for the record I'm not comparing it to anything else because I think it sets a new tone for Story-Driven Action RPG, but that's my two cents.

As a gamer, I trully feel sorry for you...

9. It would have been higher if they had left some things I miss from Origins alone and if the game was longer. Origins I would give hovering around 9 or 9.25

Called as RPG and as direct sequel to Dragon Age Origins: Rates 2/10. Sorry but this game is the badest game from Bioware. I´m so disappointed!

6/10 just got to act 3, and for each rehashed dungeon and city, i take off .2. It's too bad, I really like the characterization and some of the story elements, but I can't wade through regurgitated environments anymore. I don't think i'm gonna finish the game.

I'd give it about a 6.5, same score I would give Jade Empire. Fun game, but nothing memorable. Play it once and forget it. Most likely won't even be buying the DLC that gets released for it. It's not even in the same ballpark as Origins, not even close..

Civ 5 and DA2 are dumbed down to hell.
Simplification is not the way to go in my oppinion.
Im back to DA:O to start my third playthrough.

I'd have given it a 3 two days ago, but with the difficulty cranked up I'll give it a 5. With no auto attack playing as a tank is a huge chore. Thought about sitting on my copy until all the patches were released but I don't have time for all that.

If DA:O was the spiritual successor to BG, then this is the spiritual successor to BG:DA.

One thing I've noticed while looking at player reviews is that PC gamers generally rate it lower than DA:O, while console gamers rate it higher (I've read the professional reviews, and noticed that the text of the review is all the same, word for word between PS3, XBox and PC. Only the numbers change slightly). I'm curious to know the breakdown on the forum of rating by platform.
