The game keeps crashing right after the character creation, during the cutscene when Varric is talking about the events of Origins. it crashes at that exact same point EVERY TIME.
I installed the game with no problems, but when it started it was in a tiny screen. So I adjusted the video settings and the game played perfectly up until that point. After the crash I dropped pretty much all the settings, and then repeated this when it crashed again. So I'm not sure if its a video problem.
I ran the demo with no problems. Played Origins with few problems. The game runs fine until that point. My problem is that I'm not much of a computer guy, I don't know about everything anyone else on this forum is talking about. I can tell you that my computer has an i5 core, nVIDIA Geforce graphics card, and runs Windows 7.
I am not a happy Hawke right now, any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

Sorry about your upset, but remember, we in here, for the most part, are just gamers, same as you are. If you will read and follow up on the pinned message above that starts out with "Before anything else", then I will try to help you.

Thank you, I already read it and followed its instructions before I posted, I did not find anything that sounded like my problem.

I would have tried to help, but it seems that the author of the OP isn't interested. If you will start your own message, and actually follow through as the description of a problem report shows in detail, I'll try helping you instead.

I didn't say I wasn't interested, I just already tried that to no avail.

I have the Solution! Simply update your video drivers, if auto update tells you your drivers are up to date (as mine did) go to the manufacturers website, enter the name of your video card (if you don't know look in device manager located in control panel) and you will bring up a list of drivers, download the most recent one and install. Job done.

@CrapCommando
Well I hope it worked for you, it didn't for me. I'm going to try again after I get some sleep. :/

In which case it might be an idea to consult the ea support centre, they are pretty good, I've had to go there a few times over the years. If they can't help you nobody can.
