You cannot in good faith limit a persons ability to play a game because of a forum post.

Don't come in yet another thread to stir up trouble because you failed to cause it in another.
All these posts are doing is wasting everyones time and they are being created and spread around by the same people who have admitted only came here to fight a battle against injustice of which btw has existed for many years. The only exceptions are very few and those people are just trying to fight against EULA in general if they actuall got off their arses for once and looked over every other companies EULA they all have power to ban your use of the (licensed) product you have. Why all this fuss now? Because some dude claims and only claims that he was banned for just one comment...
Seriously now go away noone wants your spam here.

The thread everyone was directed to, to continue the discussion.
Why did they delete it? Simple!
This story has spread to several other Gaming websites.
They are linking to the thread that was deleted.
So those coming from other Gaming sites are coming to nothing.
This is a strategy by EA/Bioware. Every business uses strategies to either hype their business or protect it.
So take your pick on continuing to defend EA/Bioware... they have to respond soon or later, so time will tell.
IMHO in a business strategy, they are protecting their asses.

Insanity is defined as repeating the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Now he said something to directly lay an in**** and he was suspended. He's acting like Charile Sheen over here, acting like this is some great injustice and we must debate this, this is him simply trying to purse his own little plan. That's to get to suspended account remove.
And what does that message send if it does? if you create several accounts, whine and complain enough we will cave in? I say this is not dragon age 2 related and I have reported this message as spam.

Proof? I'm not willing to think the worst of Bioware just yet, but if they can't justify or remedy this, my stance on the matter is clear from the big thread. I will not support a company who may take away my right to use a product I paid for on their whim alone.

So, right now Bioware's account system acts sort of like a series circuit: in other words, they're directly connected to each other. The problem with this system is that, like a series circuit, if lightbulb in the circuit goes out, the other does as well. Lets say online game features (such as Cerberus network) and the forum account are lightbulbs. As Bioware's games are singleplayer, its sort of hard to get banned for your actions in game. But if you get banned from the forums (as has happened in this case), you get banned from the online features in this game. While frustrating, this doesn't render games unplayable once they've been unlocked. The problem is that this guy couldn't register his game because he was banned from his social network account, rendering his key unusable (for the time being anyways.)
While his ban is temporary, I'm concerned that this could happen again if left unchecked and maybe with even worse consequences. If someone is permanently banned due to forum actions, that would mean that all online features for his/her purchased games, as well as any chance of activating future Bioware games would be gone.
I suggest this:
Make the account system more like a parallel circuit. The forum account and the game account are run separately, but then are linked together indirectly with a master account. So if someone gets banned from the forums, they can still play their Bioware games to the fullest, as the game account would not be harmed.
Jesus I can't believe I used a physics analogy, I'm terrible at science.

My join date is irrelevant in this case.
As for you, I have been watching you in the previously deleted thread and the others, and you are a simple minded creature.
You are basically saying that someone who just reached the legal age to vote shouldn't voice their opinion.
Good Game, but like I said you are a very simple minded creature and any response that you have to me will have no further responses from myself. Although I can't wait to send that PM with the character limit filled with "OWNED" when they release a response.

It' so very strange your join date is Today and the only threads you responded to according to your profile is a thread name "Epic" and this one? we aren't dumb, clearly it's the obvious you are the person who got suspended and can't play the game for three whole days. So you create several, several accounts and spam these fourms with your message over and over.
Who else would go to all this trouble and link your account info on it being suspended over and over again. It's getting pretty sad. I suggest you stop before they figure out the ISp and EA suspends his account for good.

Nice try but internet vigilantes are not welcome here tyvm.
You and your buddies can leave now your not going to convince many people that the world is going to end because...
a. some guy claims to be banned for something though only have his word for it.
b. all of a sudden TOS and EULAs (which every digital company uses with same fact they can ban you from using their product which is (licensed) for you to use for your money if you break their rules is some new age fight for freedom. Where were you many years ago when every digital company put this cluase in their EULAs?

Ok, you've said that often enough. Nobody reads the EULAs and TOS, and you're clearly not an expert on the matter based on the way you talked in this thread and the previous one. It's a preposterous claim, and one you know nobody has the willingness to go out and prove wrong. So back it up, bucko, else you're just talking out your rear-end.Dragoonlordz wrote...

The issue is what can you do? You do not own the software. None of us do. We only have the license to use the software. It's not only EA's EULA but almost every pieces commercial softwares outline similar principles. It's been adopted for long time and what's have been done? Nothing.unlimited_sake wrote...
What's at issue is this: is it okay for EA/Bioware to prevent someone from using a product he's already paid $60 for, as well as any other products that may have been linked to his account, without refund because he posted something that they didn't like on their forums?
If so, what if the product cost $600? $6000? Where do you draw the line?
What's at issue is our rights as a consumer, and how this policy violates it.
As far as I concern, your consumer right dictate you to read the EULA and the right to NOT to agree on it by not clicking "I Agree" button.
Also, to OP, You could have tone down your vocal when you post your statement. But you choose not to. So, I advise you to wait 3 days and learn from that. As much as I dislike what happen to DA2, I wouldn't pull the stunt such yours. But that doesn't mean I won't criticize BioWare at all.
