This story is on Digg, NeoGAF, 4chan, Reddit and possibly many other gaming websites right now. We mostly come from these places, with some of us being old Bioware forums regulars, because of how disgusting, immoral and arguably illegal EA's actions are in this case.Dragoonlordz wrote...

a. some guy claims to be banned for something though only have his word for it.
b. all of a sudden TOS and EULAs (which every digital company uses with same fact they can ban you from using their product which is (licensed) for you to use for your money if you break their rules is some new age fight for freedom. Where were you many years ago when every digital company put this cluase in their EULAs?
You cannot in good faith limit a persons ability to play a game because of a forum post.

So those coming from other Gaming sites are coming to nothing.
This is a strategy by EA/Bioware. Every business uses strategies to either hype their business or protect it.
So take your pick on continuing to defend EA/Bioware... they have to respond soon or later, so time will tell.
IMHO in a business strategy, they are protecting their asses.

My join date is irrelevant in this case.
As for you, I have been watching you in the previously deleted thread and the others, and you are a simple minded creature.
You are basically saying that someone who just reached the legal age to vote shouldn't voice their opinion.
Good Game, but like I said you are a very simple minded creature and any response that you have to me will have no further responses from myself. Although I can't wait to send that PM with the character limit filled with "OWNED" when they release a response.

It' so very strange your join date is Today and the only threads you responded to according to your profile is a thread name "Epic" and this one? we aren't dumb, clearly it's the obvious you are the person who got suspended and can't play the game for three whole days. So you create several, several accounts and spam these fourms with your message over and over.
Who else would go to all this trouble and link your account info on it being suspended over and over again. It's getting pretty sad. I suggest you stop before they figure out the ISp and EA suspends his account for good.
Hmm, not sure I quite understand what you are stating here.
Why am I here I guess would be more suitable and why I am taking the time to follow this.
I am a follower of Star Wars: The Old Republic. I "was" looking forward to it but this is raising some concern to me, plus it will be a MMORPG which obviously is an online game... so hopefully this is resolved and when TOR comes out I won't get banned for saying "ass" in chat.
That is all... again just voicing my opinion in the fact.
Thanks!

Then your nothing more than a troll looking to cause trouble.
Because if this is the first time you have been fooled into believing that some guy got banned for just saying something, or that EULAs all of a sudden have changed in any way from what they always have been then I feel sorry for you.

Even so, even in the waves of false accounts/trolls there may be a few who are genuine and signalling them out with the masses is not productive at all.

Unecessarily vulgar? That's bull ****.
No matter, though.
Hey, BioWare:
You're going to stay in bed with Electronic Arts? Even though they're going out of their way to **** people over who purchased your games? They're so uppity about people being critical about them that they'll make it so legal owners cannot even play the games?
You know, I've never been a big proponent of software piracy, especially because I know how the developers usually get the short end of the stick, but guess what? I am going to do my ****ing best to happily download every EA/BioWare game that has been released for the PC. Not only that, but once I have downloaded them, I am going to redistribute them all together in a nice, big package and upload them to every major torrent site, public and private. I'm going to use my 16 Mb/s line seed box to make sure every, single person who wants them can get them.
You major software distributors have gone too far, now. I didn't care about the CD-Keys, or SecureROM, or any other measures of DRM. But to block someone from even playing a game that they spent money on altogether? It's ****ed up. And I'm going to see to it that you guys lose at least a few sales for pulling this ****.
Eat my ass, EA/Bioware.
