Most Interesting Non-Companion?

I have to say the Arishok. I found him fascinating and complex. I would go from sympathetic for him, to wanting to kill him, back to sympathetic in a few lines. Even during the climax of the Qunari invasion, I wanted to appease him but could not sacrifice Isabela for that. And that was really the Arishok... being on the cusp of understanding/compromise, but never being able to go over fully because of the nature of their culture and his personality.
Amazingly interesting character, even moreso than Meredith (as game antagonists go) I'd venture.

When I heard Cullen would be in DA2, I thought for sure he would be the most psychotic anti-mage templar in the entire game, but he's not. Very interesting indeed.

Just wanting to see what you guys found to be the most interesting non-companion NPC of the game.

I agree. He was an awesome character. I would have given him Isabela but I wanted that epic fight like the destiny trailer.

Hmph, I'm glad someone had an epic battle. Mine was ridiculous. He was tough, so it involved Hawke running in cowardly circles avoiding him until Twin Strikes recharged, stab and repeat. And the first time I fought him, his charge attack glitched Hawke into a corner and the Arishok beat her to death while I shrieked "QUNARI CHEATER! CHEEEEAATER!!!" until my husband came running to see what was wrong.
The epic Destiny trailer music would have been quite out of place. LOL!

I liked him so much that I was really hoping he'd turn out to be a secret companion or something.JoshMeinzer wrote...
I found Ketogan interesting as well. Qunari just seem to be noteworthy in general.
