Sorry if this was posted somewhere else, but I cannot find it anywhere on the forums and just general info comes up on Google.

I am looking for a guide on how to make male Hawke romance Anders, make him move in, do the deed in bed etc...

Just got to the beginning of Act 2, but I do not have his friendship at max, is that too late now? I am also not sure if I choose the wrong responses in wrong orders in A1. I always choose the <3 option, but sometimes there was more than one.

Anyways, if anyone can point out a guide(detailed) on how to do that, that would be great, thx

I just romanced Anders. His approval is easy to max out. Just bring him around to any quests involving magic and side with the mages involved. You'll max out his friendship fast.

His personal quest in Act 2 will activate once you complete the Blackpowder Courtesy. It's called Dissent. You can easily get 30+ approval from this one quest alone, as long as you go along with him in his little underground railroad and stop him from killing the mage he's been trying to save (take the green diplomacy option when the time comes).

Once Anders hits 50 friendship, Questioning Beliefs will trigger. Pick every flirt line and eventually Anders will say he can't take the teasing anymore. Tell him you're not teasing and it'll lead to a kiss. He'll also offer to swing by your house at night. The next time you're there, the romance cutscene initiates. From there, Anders will also swing by to offer support after All that Remains. At the beginning of Act 3, you can give him a key. He'll be found in your house from that point on.

So, the fact that I don't have his friendship maxed at the end of Act 1 does not matter? ...I also thought that when you go to your new home and Hawke is in his silk PJ's or whatever, that it was the only time for the romance scene...then Avielene walked in and I was like ummm, I was expecting Anders and thought I f***ed it all up

The romance scene will only trigger if you go to Hawke's house at night after completing his quests (Dissent and Questioning Beliefs). Don't worry, you won't miss it. Anders will point blank tell you he's coming over.
