Really though having every character be bi is stupid, but you can't blame Bioware when hundreds of people beg for such a thing every time they release a game.

Well he's only gay if you play that way I guess... in my canon, as in my playthrough, he is not. I guess one could look at it that way.

Be quiet, I for one am glad I wasn't forced to romance Isabella, Merrill didn't **** around... literally. Though, I still adore isabella... just not girlfriend material.

IE: I romanced Merrill, and she didn't actually appear in my estate until Act 3, after you complete her final quest (Which was killing the Keeper)

I don't really know what your reply has to do with my comment? I was just saying Anders is gay if you choose him to be, straight if you choose him to be, bi if you want, etc. etc.. I don't see it as "he is definitely bi because both genders can romance him" I see it more as the player chooses the storyline.

StingingVelvet, Anders is canonically bisexual. He had a relationship with that guy Karl he tried to save in Act 1, the tranquilled one.
Hmmm... well of all the romanceable companions are canonically bisexual that is pretty stupid.

StingingVelvet, Fenris and Merill are Hawke-sexual. Anders and Isabela are bisexual.
That's actually a pretty good description. Anders and Isabela's sexuality is part of their character and storyline. It seems like Fenris and Merrill were made s/s options as an afterthought so people would stop b*tching.

Wait, so you can have a gay relationship with Anders but can't have a straight relationship with Aveline? What gives?!
You can't have a gay relationship with Aveline either to be fair.

Frankly I'm suprised that all the LI are technically bi. But its a good thing. If they set the character up as a LI for the main character they should swing it the way the character is playing it. Just easier that way and more marketable.
Side Note: There are many straight women who would swing that way for Angelina Jolie and straight guys who would go for Justin Beiber. Hawke is just that charismatic.

Bioware design practices seems to be 3 acts in a story and 4 LI. So that's standard. But I understand that Sebastien is a LI and he is a DLC. *shrug*

However, Sebastian is totally straight no matter Hawkes gender. Male Hawke cannot even attempt to flirt at all with him.
