I'm playing as a Dwarf Noble and the DLC code for the blood dragon armor seems to have activated and given me the first piece during the origin story. At the end of the origin story though I am stripped of all my equipment.

Am I now screwed out of the armor?

How the hell did that happen? Can you check your add ins if they are enabled?

yup. same thing happened to me. What you should do is sell off everything valuable before going into the Deep Roads. You can earn around 8 gold for the DLC stuff. And the storyline only strip of of equipment, not gold.

Disable the Blood Dragon Armor addon and load up your save. You'll have to do a Force Load (it'll ask you if you'd like to when you try to load it without the addon enabled). After this, save your game. Then, exit out, renable the addon, and load your save. You have your armor back (I did this, as you can see by looking at my character).

Same thing here. But since my char is a rogue i did not notice untill two main story quests later. It is something that should be fixed in a next patch.

OT: the search function on this site needs work.

it's a known bug and Bioware have spoken about fixing it for the next patch.

The fix has been mentioned many, many times in this forum.

Search was working yesterday.

That would be a work around, not a fix.



OT And that it gets mentioned so often might indicate that there is something wrong with the search function. I only found this topic by browsing trough every page in this section. Searching on the terms gave no results. (But search problems is something that should be in the social site section, not tech support.)

same thing happends to dwarf commoner , aafter the work around that i did a few days ago , yesterday i had to do it again because my chest was missing again for i dont know what reason was funny to see Sten without armor while he had the boots,gloves and helmet on ...

I had this problem kind of too.. only with me it happened to my warden commander armor. I went into the deep roads and it was gone.. he only had his helmet left and everything else. I tried to load other saves too but it's gone everywhere:-S

Just disable and enable and you'll get it back.

I also had the weirdest thing when disabling. The dwarf that sells it had two sets of it. So now Sten and I have our own dragon armour. Sweet.
