After doing his act 3 quest "Haunted" Varric losses all 3 of his rune slots. This is a massive problem as he losses his +Attributes rune not to mention his defensive runes making him a liabitlity to have in a group.

this is my 2nd run on the game, at first i asked him to get rid of the hard. oly got an attackspeed rune that sandel makes when i give him the shard. but on this run i let him keep it, all the armor rune slots were lost but bianca got 2 more slots. it is said on dragon age Wikia that i can have the armor runes back if i remove varric from teh party and tehn add him back, i tried it but it didn't work :S

Removing Him from the party, saving the game and then restarting it restored them for me.
