Is it better to approach Zevran to bed him, or wait for him to come to you first?

I never found him insufferable.



I slept with him once. We agreed it was an 'easy come, easy go' thing. I then listened to his various stories and gave him the glove and boot gifts. His approval was at around 93 and he decided he loved me and that we were tricking Leliana.



Stupid elf.



So, yeah. Just sleep with him, get him his personal gifts, and go through the various quests, and he'll decided that you two are an item. So annoying.

I haven't shagged any characters yet. no ones asked me yet and I'm not going to be the one to pop the question. My Dalish elf wants to be the chased not the chaser. So I'm just flirting with everyone and seeing what comes of that.

morrigan's the only one so far i've discovered who actually initiates it.

Alistair makes comments that seem like he wants to initiate things, but then backs out of it ;-)



I think all of the characters start talking about the PC being attractive if they like you enough, Zevran will make it very apparent as well, but if you tell them even their slightest advances are out of place, they'll stop...



Morrigan is a special case, but of course only available to male PCs...

I think Alistair also initiates things, but you have to manipulate him into doing it. But if you're naturally a girl, that shouldn't be difficult.

Strange, because Alistair was the one who seduced my character even asking her to go to bed with her :innocent:


About Zévran, I think the best choice is to let him seduce you because he can have sex with anyone without becoming serious and the proof is : he tries to to seduce other girls in the group too.
So, in my opinion better let him come at you so you can see how he is serious about your relationship unless you jus want a sex toy ?

I'm not romancing anyone else, because I prefer him.  I was wondering, though...  In every man on man sex scene I've seen him in with other players' characters on youtube, Zevran's catching, but with my male, elven mage, my character is basically in the same position that a female PC would be during that scene.

Does anyone know what makes this happen?  The gender tags are fine as far as I know (this is a 360 playthrough).  Is this true for all elves?  Is it true for all mages?  Is it because I told Alistair I was a virgin earlier in the game? Btw! I REALLY wish there was dialogue pertaining to that!  Like Alistair could talk to me after I do it with Zevran and be like, "So, you finally did it!  Congrats, man...  Even if it is a little weird... >.>".  And before you bed Zevran, you should be able to be like "I've never..." and then have him chuckle and be even more seductive toward you.  ^.^"  Maybe that's just me.  I've preyed on virgins in my own life just to get to see all of their reactions (because if you're anything like me, your own first time had your mind a little too preoccupied to ponder on how cute your face must have looked).

It's weird, because I was a little regretful that Zevran always seemed like he was worshipping the man in those cutscenes, and then the guy comes bearing down on him and they have their fun.  As a gay man who admittedly prefers that role in bed, I was *hoping* for a more dominant Zevran...  I just didn't expect to see it.

That said!  I wish it weren't so similar to some of the ladies' scenes.  It freaked me out when I saw that online!  Too familiar for my tastes (given the way my scene plays out with him)--like a horrible nightmare for me.  I would be happy to just be where Zevran is in the Zev-Male PC scene and have him on top, but whatever.

And speaking of that scene, the way Zevran behaves makes him seem like he's calling upon some sort of Elven/Crow-seduction process that he could do in his sleep after all those years.  Is the scene different for my character because we are both male elves, and there is supposed to be some sort of equality there?  Or was it really my dialogue that caused it (because if so, I am really curious to know which lines did it--given how subtle it would have had to have been)?

I dunno.  Zevran's confidence and overall personality make him seem dominant to me, so even if he were versatile as far as positions go, I would expect that he would play the "mentor" role when it comes to sex with a person like my character.  From what I've seen in videos online, he seems to mellow out a little when things get more serious, though, so I can see how he can be more of a natural bottom in those scenes.

And one last thing to consider about all this:  My character is taller than Zevran.  >.<!!  So it's cute that he's on bottom.  It SO fits his boyish personality, but I wonder if other elf PCs would seem out of place in the same situation.


(And that pirate line--"prepare to be boarded"--even had my boyfriend giggling)


P.P.S.

I know people have joked about Alistair lurking behind Zevran's shoulder in the dialogue scenes after you go in the tent--but does anyone remember Mrs. Crumplebottom from The Sims?  He reminded me of her SO much!
