I first started to see this in act two...i play a mage and for some reason my character is fine throughout the game....but when the fighting starts she moves in slow motion. I thought it might be the staff i was using...maybe it was too heavy...idk...but wasnt that...maybe its a certain type of equipment...again idk as there is no real consistent way of telling if something is for mages or warriors etc.
I saw a post already in the tech forums about this but for some reason i cant post there....
Anyone else having this issue...it makes the game alot harder when your only hitting at half speed...while everyone else is fine...enemies/companions etc.
Ty for any insight...

I am playing as a warrior and am experiencing this too. Since the beginning of Act 2 I have noticed my character's combat animations slow down several times. The animations will become slower suddenly during a new battle will stay at the slower speed thereafter. It has happened three times to my character that I have noticed and so my character is progressively getting slower and slower at attacking to the point that it takes battle animations roughly 4-5 times the usual amount of time to complete. It has put my character at a major disadvantage in every battle. I tried changing all of my equipment, removing all my equipment, and even re-specing my character with the Black Emporium DLC but nothing helped. I am playing the Xbox 360 version of the game. Could someone from Bioware please respond to show that this is a known issue or if more information is needed.

I suffer from this bug too. It has halted the game for me because I can longer best some encounters. Any ETA on any kind of fix or workaround other than "look for the last known good save and cross your fingers"?

This is a serious, game-stopping bug.
I do hope Bioware gets on this very quickly. I bet it has something to do with haste.
