Have DLC stone prisoner installed and says it is enabled but Sulchers Pass not showing on world map after loathing.

retail copy bought from steam not a craked version.

i am logged into dragon age servers from main menu ingame and nothing



Nothing what so ever on minimap ..no guy in camp to talk to for stone prisoner.

I have the same issue with a PC DVD version after 4 reinstalls and haven't been able to to even find any info that works. I get the Crystals as loot and it says that the DLC is installed just no Pass.

I have the Same issue, downloaded the Stone Prisoner, it is enable, and I am finding all kinds of armor for Shale.....but Sulchers Pass is not showing on the World Map.  I call EA Tech Support Last night after waiting over 40 mins.....I talk to a Tech support guy name Chris, who acted like I was crazy when I told him the problem.....he said that it really wasn't a technical issue....sort of a in game technical issue.   He sent me up to Tier 3, which will be handle with Email corresondents....I dont have access to the internet at home, but here at work! O well, I let you know what Tier 3 says.

Same problem here. I've tried every trick in the book, and still no map icon for Sulcher's Pass. Damn annoying.

Same here. I met the guy with the Stone Golem Rod and thought "Hell, yeah I'll do that one first. 'poof' Sulchers Pass is gone from my map.

My brother has a problem as well. He talks to the guy who says he'll give him the rod and mark the map but instead all that comes up is quest updated, he never gets the rod and the map is never marked.

Have Shale enabled, and Wardens Keep, yet nither one is showing up ingame.

I am getting rather sick and ****g tired of this bullsh*t with the dlc of this game.



This is **** that should have been worked out before the god damn game was released, especially seeing as it was day one dlc.

In order to best troubleshoot your issue, we will need additional system information. Please send us this information from a program called the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. To do this:



1. Hold down the Windows key and press R

2. At the Run command, type in dxdiag and select OK

3. Select "Save All Information" at the bottom of the program

4. Save the DxDiag file to your desktop

5. Attach this file to your email reply



After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issue at hand and hopefully come to a solution.

I get the same problem, got a bunch of crystals for shale. But no sulcher's pass. So I can't even get the rod. It's really putting me off from playing any farther because I want shale in my party when I get to Orzammar.

if you are sure that your dlc is enabled and you should have access to it i.e.



then I can suggest this which helped me.
go to

C:\\Users\\your account name\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Settings

and make a back up of addins.xml

open up the addins.xml in an editor ( notepad will do but is messy, dreamweaver of other such html editor is easier, wordpad is best if you don't have a specific program for it) and look for the line



and change the part that says RequiresAuthorization="1" to ="0"

save it back in the same folder with the same name and restart your game. This 'MAY' result in the pass showing up on your map. (worked for me )

also try the save and exit, disable content in menu, load ( force load) save and exit again. re-enable content and resume last save method to force content back. Also keep in mind that if you've been there once and talked to the guy then it disappears from the map and does not come back ( he's supposed to mark the village for shale on your map but if the authorization fails he does not, so try both methods )

Wow 0 tech support for this game.EA doesnt help(1 week with no email reply from them)..BIO doesnt help ...FAIL...next time i guess i wont be buying a new BIO/EA game

I could not find that line in addins.xml, only look for about 10 mins. Tonight I will get to work on it some more. As far as the game goes I think it is outstanding. First game in a long time to hold my attention for longer then a week. I love a good story line game. I will update you guys when I can try the other methods to fix shale.  And yes, EA tech support sucks.  Very disappointed.

The quest isn't working here too. Already tried deleted and reinstalled the DLC, but it's still not working...

I have always run games as admins since vista.......bad problems with vista.  I have win7 now, much better then vista.  I will try a few things posted here, I will keep everyone updated though.  Have to work till 5:00pm though, boo on work. lol.
