That's asking alot.
I mean, have you ever not purchased a game you were really psyched for just because the release date got pushed back?
I mean that I think/feel EA/Bioware isn't taking ME3 as seriously/passionatly as we the fans are.
You loved both games in the series I take it, I loved the first thought the second was wasted potential.
I seriously doubt they'll spend the time/resources to "perfect" the game.
It's buisness, nothing personal with them.(I could be dead wrong, just the way I see it)

Just wanted to add, that reputation is the biggest argument for not rushing a game. Not even necessarily the reputation of the game (in MEs case, it already profits so much from the predecessors, that I think wont matter that much in terms of profits) but BWs reputation as a developer. Especially after getting quite some heat over DA2, pushing out a second game that is rushed and will be perceived as such within a year can go a long way to ruin BW reputation that the studio has hardly and rightfully earned. This again will of course affect sales of future products. Just as AdmCheez, I am not at all an expert on marketing, just using a bit of common sense here.
So BW, don't rush it, you must have enough of a financial buffer by now to be able to affort another 6 months iso don't hesitate to take them if needed.

You can always sex it up more or throw in something extra.Fiery Phoenix wrote...
It has been confirmed firsthand that ME3 was fully playable as early as this past Christmas. Some developer here claimed that he did one complete playthrough during the holiday. Considering this, I'm not quite sure they have much else to do other than polishing and "sexifying" the game, which normally takes months but not more.
There's no such thing as a final draft until you turn it in.

This.
Respectfully, it doesn't really matter whether BioWare / EA actually listens to this thread -- the game is done. They're just dolling it up before the holidays now. <_<

Great, I don't need everyone to be on in my grill trying to romance me! I don't want to walk inside infirmary and have Dr. Chackwas seducing me.

I don't know I felt when giving her the brandy she was dissecting Shep in her mind. It felt like she was hitting on Shep to me. It had a cougar moment feel to it.

"Fully playable" could mean anything judging by this:
Bioware has it set up so that the basic level layouts and drafted dialogue are done first, so that they can be tested regularly by the designers at any point during production. Animation, actual finished dialogue, cinematics, sound, etc. are all implemented in later stages. By "fully playable," that could just mean that the main plotline has already been laid out from start to finish; they still have to work on character dialogue, squad banter, detailing, sidequests, and world-building; basically creating content.
So no, I don't think ME3 is in the polishing stages quite yet.

Dude it's okay, I was hoping the brandy would loosen things up a bit between us in ME2 too

Recall that they will show ME3 in all its glory at E3. E3 is just a few months away, so I doubt it's still in those very early stages. They need at least one good part of the game for E3.Mr. MannlyMan wrote...

I bet it'll be a huge spoiler scene, ruining the start/middle/ending of the game for every poor soul that is seeing the presentation. Because it's not like they haven't done this before.....

The Normandy destruction anyone? While an awesome scene, I can't imagine what it would be like to see it in your game for the first time (i.e. without having had it spoiled beforehand).Pwener2313 wrote...
