I am having the freezing issue. I am using the most up to date driver 2-15-11.
Now I am having a new issue when I load into a new area (just left Kirkwall) the sound effects work, the music works but the dialogue tones down to an almost nil and cannot hear it at all. I tried headphones and my speakers. My audio card is up to date. The first couple hours worked fine (at least with audio). If I exit the game and restart it works fine. Problem is I am missing the story.
This is so buggy and frustrating...I really wish I bought it on XBox. The wierd thing is that I am having the cannot read the drive issue that others have but I am still able to log in to servers. At least it says I am logged in.

rocketfish 5.1 audio card
I really want to play but the intermittent bugs are ruining the game. I have been a die hard EA/Bioware fan as well as DAO fan and this is killing me.....so sad
