I've just reached Act 3 and I've really felt Cleave has trivialized all AoE encounters as well as some boss/miniboss fights.   I initially struggled a bit on Hard, then I swapped up my talent build, opting for an early Cleave, getting it as soon as I could along with it's upgrade (the name escapes me currently).  I turn on Cleave, Reaper through a pack and it dies, then Whirlwind another pack and it dies too, then turn to the only thing with HP left and Mighty Blow it, then press R and move to the next fight.

I'm just... I guess my question is Hard really this easy once you've got 10~ ability points for other classes...?

Rogues, not so much. Mages, it's easy no matter what.

Warrior's main feat this time around is the 2h weapons, so of course mass slaughter is their easiest way to go and simply makes the game no challenge.

Mages just blow up everything, its only hard if you don't plan things out.

Rogues...well, they have some AoE abilities, but not many. Their main purpose is to kill that one guy with HP after the Scythe and Whirlwind. On my rogue game, in basic crappy gear, I can one shot Thug Leaders with one un-upgraded Twin Fangs (or something like that), but if there's 10 corpses I usually die. And on my warrior its just the same, Frenzy, Scythe, Whirlwind, Mighty Blow, next fight.

If you find the game easy on Hard why don't you bump it up to Nightmare.
2H warriors make Hard feel like easy but its a total different story on Nightmare because all AOE attacks, even Mighty Blow hit allies too with FF on.
