So who is actually ENJOYING this game?

My biggest dislikes are the Text, I don't care for most of the new party members and the plot is all over. Most of what the plot was just fuel for the fire and I didn't feel like doing anything.

1. Combat is way more fun than Origins combat. It really does make you feel more involved(At least it does for me).
2. My Hawke is female, and I love her voice. She really does show emotion well.
There are other positive things I have noticed, and some negative things too, but these two things seem like things I will not change my position on even after I finish the game. So yes, I am enjoying it. I am enjoying it a lot.

I am calling you out on your bull. Sorry but you don't know what I want. You are just trying to start a fight. I know what you are doing. You can't fool me but again nice try
Going by that logic, how do you know that he just wants to start a fight? He can't read minds but you can? D:

put the controler down
And this is why Call of Dragon Gears is such a "hit."

But it's still a fun game that I am enjoying quite a lot. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me. I wasn't much of a ME fan in the beginning either.
It might have something to do with the fact that after it was announced I made a point of not following any of the news or info about it, other than playing the demo through about a week before release.

Either you are him under another account trying to start trouble again or you can make the choice to not draw up old conversations that has nothing to do with this topic and find yourself reported. It's your decision really.
As for everyone else's comments. I am so happy to have woken up to see so many great comments and reasons to liking this game. I am also liking how everyone says what they love about it and mentions with respect some of things they don't like about it without being complete mindless haters who come here to argue. Thank you guys for being so respectful to the topic and sharing your experiences. I am happy to see you are all enjoying the game. It's new and different from DAO but it's fun and gives us the entertainment we ask for in most games. I believe all games are not perfect and always have flaws or things that bother us. But we can just take what we get and find some joy out of it. Nothing wrong with that right? Think positivly, it's better for your health.

You just need to accept it, people "love" dragon age just as much as some people "hate" it.

Agreed. As much as I love both styles there are things I hated about 1
and loved about the other. It's a love hate relationship because we want
games to be everything we expect them to be due to our indulgence and
over abundance of so many different games out there that we are kinda
spoiled now lol. Before we were lucky when they released a good RPG back
in the old days and lets face it guys, those graphics back then gave us
enough migraines to make our eyes fall out. LOL
I just say enjoy
what you got. If our world were to end up like Fallout, then we wouldn't
have any of these fun things to enjoy. Live it up my friends, live it
up! We are in the time of technology. Our past selves would of never
imagined such technology. haha
So I woke up and popped in my DA2.
I been doing all the side quests. I find it really helps the game feel
longer. And the dialog is fun to play with. I also found the
achievements are very easy to unlock. I found Mass Effect 2 easy to
unlock achievements so it's fun getting to do that if you are playing on
XBOX360. Makes accomplishing a mission more fun.

Still early into the game but so far it's been enjoyable. It's different from Origins but that's not totally a bad thing. Of course there are things i don't like too but it was the same with Origins. Been lucky not to encounter any real bugs yet that can be a curse for buyers on release day so at least it's not buggy as hell like some games when they first come out.
I have only found 1 bug so far. It was kinda annoying lol but bugs can be funny like in bethesda's Oblivion game. Oh god that always had me laughing when you would hear someone say *in old woman's voice* "spare some change for an old begger??" then seconds later you run up and talk to the same person and you hear *In strong males voice* "HAIL Friend!" lol Always had me laughing. It never got old lol

Oh, and while I do thing it's a bit odd how they changed the qunari's appearance, I do like that it brings out this much more bestial nature in them. I ignored Sten on my first playthrough, on my second one I used him all the time and grew to like him. However, he seemed more like an old autistic man that was confused and slightly worried by everything - these damn kids and their pesky emotions! - than some terrifying warrior from a race of people who once caused the two halves of the Chantry to unite just to try to defend themselves.
Like how the krogan were made really terrifying and overwhelming in ME2, it seems like maybe the qunari could fulfill that role in DA, though from what I've seen so far they're not as good as their reputation suggests. The only time I've lost a single party member (on Hard) was against a large group of Dalish warriors and an assassin, the qunari so far have been pretty straight forward.
Yeah I noticed they changed that. It kind of confused me. I like the new look too but i was like .."wait?? that's the qunari?" lol

DA:O was about epic travels across the land.
DA2 is more like "Kirkwall Stories: Side Quests".

1. The graphics are AMAZING! Soooo much better than Origins.
2. Hawke fully voiced, I mean come on. How is that not awesome?
3. Improved choice wheel with more integrated choices.
4. Better menus. I like the ME2 menu and they made DA2 very similar.
5. A pretty awesome story. I finished it at 5am EST cause I couldn't go to sleep knowing I was almost done. I can already tell some DA3 potential and it will be epic.
6. Sweet abilities. The trees are awesome and give us way more options.
7. Improved armor. I was so hating on the fatigue thing in DAO.
8. Weapons. Added DPS, which is total love.
All that said, there are a few things they could have done to extend the game as well as some changes to overall play I wish they wouldn't have done,
1. Can't talk to party memebers at will, only when directed to by quests.
2. Party members have locked armor. I really would have liked to use some of the tons of stuff I found in-game to buff up party members.
3. Dog as a party member instead of a sustained spell.
In my opinion, non of those "cons" are deal breakers for me. I still love the game and am getting ready to start my Mage play through. Seriously, people just need to take a chill pill and remember this is an entertainment industry. Have fun, don't analyze it to death!!!
