I love this game. But I'm very frustrated because I can't find this "registration code" the website keeps telling me about. And I never got my Amulet of Ashes... )L:
So who is actually ENJOYING this game?

That would be the numbers under the UPC code on the back of the box. Make sure you include the two small numbers in the lower corners.MattJ710 wrote...

From what I can see, the only people ENJOYING this game are people with very low expectations of what a "good" game is.

More people need to play a good D&D campaign before saying that "love" Dragon Age 2 (Not 4E though)
End of story.
Been there, done that, still doing that. Still loving Dragon Age 2.

I happen to absolutely LOVE this game. It feels like Dragon Age Origins with a breath of fresh air to me. The fighting style was how I initially tried to play DA:O, but had to get used to more tactical styles than pressing buttons. I got used to it(and damn glad I did), and kept playing. Graphically, it's definitely improved as well. Other than the few bugs I've encountered and some incidents that didn't seem to import from my post-Witch Hunt save, this game is incredible. Disregard the negative hype. Bioware kicks ass in my book. Thanks guys. Cheers.

i am leaning more to the "not enjoying side" then the "enjoying" side, simply becuase of the lack of depth and story. the "story" of DA2 fails so hard in comparison to origins. i love the new action oriented combat mechanics but the game just feels like a grindfest to me to get between each fight.

I cant tell if its growing on me, or if I'm just in the 5th stage of grief.

I love it.
I love it so much that I don't actually want to finish it. I want it to go on forever.
Alas, 'tis not so.

Some other games besides Dragon Age 2 that I've enjoyed in the last 6ish months or so.
Demon's Souls
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Infamous
Dragon Age Origins
Mass Effect 2
LittleBigPlanet2
etc etc...
So from what you can see I wouldn't understand what a good game is. So the list of games I've liked are also games that suck?

I like the game a lot.
I come to the forums to talk about how much I like it and I leave right away because of all the idiots who take it as a personal affront when someone makes a game that isn't the same as the game they thought they should make.
Even worse are the total dorks who think they are more intelligent than other people because they like a certain kind of game. The term "dumbing down" makes me want to projectile vomit. It isn't difficult to do any of the things you like to do in games. Some people find it fun, some find it tedious.

Great to see so many people are enjoying it.
Though truth be told the hypernegativity going on in the forums at the moment is not really meaningful, especially when you start noticing that the majority of those topics is made by people who registered today or in the last couple of days just to troll (and before anyone starts complaining, no I'm not saying the game's perfect or that people have no reason to dislike/criticize it).
The people who aren't feeling the story... I suggest you keep on playing, it starts slow but picks up later on.

Vandrayke is right. This dude must be a sad and lonely human being. But even so, if you need a friend we are all here to discuss in a civil manner.

This is trivial to be sure, but does anyone else love the new leather in this game? In DA:O my rogue was in perpetual gimp mode with his little skirt. I swear no matter what you equipped - same damn skin with or maybe even without legs (Innovative!). It wasn't until Awakening that we finally got some Black Leather, and even then it had absolutely garbage stats compared to the Felon's Coat or the Battledress.
A small thing, but I love it.

LOVE this game. Only wish they had kept some of the previous characters to play with to make it more of a continuation... Still, compared to almost all other games I have ever played, DA & DA2 are my absolute favorites.
