Good game, but not a great one. Fun, but I doubt it will be memorable. I plan on enjoying it but probably won't remember it much after I'm done.
So who is actually ENJOYING this game?

I just finished it recently and enjoyed myself tremendously. I loved the story (and the ending), especially the conflict between the main factions. I also liked that there were major events in the game that I found emotionally affecting and painful. And of course, I was rather fond of the companions - thought they were well-written.

I really liked the game. The story was enjoyable and I liked the characters just as much as the first.
People will complain and let them. It is opinion that they do not like it, and I am sorry to hear that.

I finished the game and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the story and the more responsive combat system. I also thought the voiced character and the conversation wheel were a step up from Origins.

Disappointing combat system, level design, and armor/weapon customization to say the least.

Just got my copy a few hours ago. My 360 has been having issues with playing games from the harddrive though so I'll post my thoughts on the game eventually - it keeps telling me the discs are unreadable. So far I'm enjoying it but I'm not very far in.

Great game, but now I want the next installment to be along the same lines.

I love it. YOu can get a lot of time into the game if you go through every quest that you have in every act. I haven't gotten through my first playthrough yet due to a busy schedule as well but I do feel this game has it's improvements over Origins.
For starters definetly the combat, Origins was fun but the combat wore a bit after awhile while in DA2 it is more action paced. Granted there is a lot of button pressing at times but I still find it a bit better then Origins.
Having a character that actually talks. I liked my Warden but I had little attachment for him since really, there was no voice or emotion to him or anything he seemed more of a mime more then anything. While Hawke you get more of a feel for him and through choices a better understanding of him.
The dialog reel I like. I just find it a bit more appealing along with the inventory and the pause menu feels a bit more organized and suits my taste.
DA2 doesn't win over everything with DA:O but I love it and still find the game immensly fun unlike some who think it's a step back. I rather think it's a step forward in most the changes they added to the game. The only qualm I have with it is the inability to actually equiped your party members with other kinds of armor but that is small and doesn't matter much.

Amazing game. I think Hawke has transcended Shepard and always transcended the Worden since Day 1.

I was enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would until I got assaulted by a roving band of glitches and bugs stripping me of any enjoyment I could have until they're fixed.

Loved this game i can't put it down, i feel like they improved graphics and the combat system but lacked a little in story. I gave it a 9.0, if dragon age 3 gets a better story but the the core of DA2 remains i think it will be a amazing game.

On my first playthrough; I am enjoying the gameplay a LOT more than DA:O. I'm not sold on the music yet though...
Story and characters... well... I'm not done yet!
Bethany is dangerously adorable though.

So far the forums have been more entertaining. I knew there would be a lot I didn't like but I am finally warming up to it.Maybe posting all I dislike in the review thread helped to get it out of my system.
I will always prefer the pick your own race/class/gender/etc to a "play this human Hawke" type story, but I am starting to just play the game for what it is. 7/10 on its own merits, 6.5/10 compared to DAO.

Im just suprised how much I warmed up to the game since I started. Its become insanely addicting now. Only thing Im mad about right now is **SPOILER** Bethany died in the deep roads and she was my primary mage, with maxed out elemental, she pwnd! So upset...all those stat points.

Okay, enjoying the game considerably less now. Second playthrough, romancing Isabella... and now I have -60 attack speed because she gave me an STD. Well, no, not really, but apparently her (and Sebastian's) friendly bonus doesn't work properly, so every time you remove her from your party your attack speed goes down as if it was buffed, but every time you add her it doesn't go up.
Do that enough times and your character becomes unplayable. Trying to use the savegame editor to fix this, but the replay value just went down a few more notches until I find out if ALL the companions and armor sets have the same bug or not.

Hard to even enjoy these forums without some mod who doesn't bother reading the thread locks it. Why is this one still up? Surely someone has expressed an opinion in here, which we all know is against the rules under the EA gods.
