I am indeed ENJOYING DA2, not as much as I ENJOYED, DAO, but still ENJOYING it.

;)

I'm in the same boat. Tis no DA:O, but it is keeping me pleasantly preoccupied.

Same. But after 2 playthroughs, i am done with it. Hopefully more mods will come out to make me go a 3rd time thru it.

Until then i will patiently await AC:B :D

Me. Except for the re-used areas. That is the biggest flaw of this game. Not quite up to the usual Bioware quality.

I agree.  This bit just had me scratching my head.  Half the time I was sure I was just revisiting an old area only to realise it was another identical area.  That felt cheap.

Liked some of the fights, liked the new abilities, disliked the lack of armour customization, and that they removed sub-class characters like Strength Rogues; liked the new setting, liked the design and most of the craft that went into the art.

I like the stories around the family, and your comparisons; didn't enjoy the main story.

& dislike the Ancient Rock Wraith, and any battle that turns into the game into a platform action game.

I'd give it 7.5 out of 10; DA:O was an 8 out of 10 for me, but gameplay wise I often prefer DA2, and visually I do too.

They did this all over ME1, so its pretty normal for BW, or at least not unheard of.

It was a shame then, and it's a shame now.

I enjoyed it, but dosen't have much replay value for me. I still prefer DA:O over this one.

I enjoyed the game the game very much. Actually I'm still enjoying it. The story was great and there was a lot of hard decisions I had to make, that really made me think of what my character should do and what could come out of it. In the end I think it will offer me more replay value than DAO did.

Also, DA2 managed to get me excited about playing as a mage - something I never really wanted to do in DAO or any other game.

I am enjoying the story and narrative techniques a lot. I also love all the companions, except Fenris since he seems boring to me (I was never one for elf female eye candy lol). But that could change in the future.

Loving it, a near perfect game apart from recycled areas and a small map (wanted to see all of the Free Marches). Oh well, still a 9/10

I am enjoying the game, I deeply apologize for it though. I will try to be unhappy with DA3.

I love the new fighting style , love the graphics and a good experience overall but the style and the atmosphere that was brought in to the first 2 games on every level is something that is missing. I do hope they come out with a kick ass xp pack that takes us back to dark swamps dungeons and caves.

You know one of the things I've enjoyed the most seems to be one of the most disliked things. Companion armor is a big step forward. Really Sten how many times am I going to pick up chain mail off a body before you say "uh maybe these rags don't stop blades so well afterall!". I am sapoused to put my trust in the fact that they will keep me alive and they have to dressed like a two year old? And really I could put an armor on Sten move it to Oghren and then move it to Leliana and it fits evreyone perfectly? It would have been nice if there was a graphical change in the companion armor based on the friend rivalry bar. But it's a nice first step

A bit late to the thread, but definitely enjoying it.

I like most of the changes they made, disagree with some of them, but overall I'm having a blast.

If you see me claiming that I liked DA:O better I'd only be saying that one awesome game is a bit more awesome than another. Though right now I'm not ready to say which I think is better as I'm only nearing the end of Act 2 (stupid job and responsibilities). I think the biggest point against it is the reuse of environments - I don't mind when they do it a bit, but when every place you go is literally a reused map it gets a little tiring.

I think a lot of the people complaining are just a vocal minority, after all most of us reasonable level headed people don't go around screaming our head off about things.

 I love this game.

While there are things they could have done better, still a 8.5-9/10 in my book

To be honest the people rabidly complaining about this one are cut from the same mold as people who complain about Naruto being horribly written plot wise but continue to read it weekly.

This game is amazing! I wish I could discuss the plot to give a more in-depth review. I think it has a very deep plot, and an amazing ending. The cameo appearences were avery nice touch also. I do not like, however, that you can't know as much about your companions as in DA: O. I did choose to erase my first playthrough and redo it though because I missed recruiting Isabela(not really important to me, but I want to have optimal possible import data; also I want to improve on my playthrough). Yeah thats right, I'm gonna play through the game again doing a lot of the same things before I do a different playthrough. I did the same thing for Origins, though out of necessity(couldn't beat archdemon and made a lot of crap choices). I have to say ,I'm a few hours in redoing my playthrough, and it seems somewhat better because now I can recognize all the foreshadowing and what not. I give this game a 9/10( to me no game deserves 10/10 because no game is perfect). It has great music, a great story, improved gameplay and much more. (I could talk a lot more about it, but I'm trying to keep it short-ish)

Bioware is a master of storytelling in my opinion, and I feel sorry for the people who played for 1 hour then gave up. I compare DA: O and DA II to good books; starts off slow, but as the story progresses, you become more interested. Then, when it all ends, you feel satisfied that such an epic tale has reached conclusion, but at the same time you wish there was more to the story. And in this case, I can see a DA III coming so I will be happy.
