 here is my DA2 experience so far:

turn on ps3
start game
resume game
play my game,saving before I gather my party and leave an area because I dont when the hang-up will occur
lather.rinse.repeat

game play fine for about 30-35 minutes before hangups happen.doesnt seem to matter where in the story line it is.


any one else?

Yeah alllllllllll the time, it was really bad for a period during the game but I've discovered it's almost like it dislikes me going to certain areas at certain times. For example, when I was getting Merril in Sundermount loading that area was no problem. Now that I have progressed a bit further, everytime I try to load Sundermount the loading just goes on, and on, and on. However, if I go somewhere else it works just fine. It is super tempermental. I'm doing the same exact method as you but I've just said "if loading doesnt work after 2 tries lets do a new area." The game is a blast and more than worth this (unfortunately gamebreaking) problem but I really, really hope it gets patched soon...

it seems like once you load up a fresh game,you can get to areas that previously wouldnt load.Sundermount was on of them,but I got past it only to have the loading screen issues arise 30 minutes later.

Same here I was able to load Sundermount this morning

you can keep making progress,it just stops loading after a while

Yeah it's playable I'm just glad I don't have some of these freezing issues others are having

My game was hanging up when leaving Mars.
I would get to a Loading screen, but, it would never load.

I searched the posts and found similar issues..

This FIXED the issue for me:

Select Repair Install by right clicking on the game in Origin
