So while googling the word "Herpderpery"  I stumbled into this disturbing sight. It's the official image of how a female Turian looks like from the Evolution comic.

Posted Image

Even the character representation sucks in this comic. I have had this image stored for almost two years of a fanmade female Turian.

Posted Image

Now, I would hit that, not the "bald" looking one. The second one actually looks cute, the first one is disgusting and if I hadn't looked in the wiki, I would have thought it was a male.

Well that's my take on this, what does everyone think?

That's supposed to be a female? Looks male to me, like a teen Turian.

Ha!

I saw you post on another thread about searching for Herpderpery and then this pops up a few minutes later.

I love how everyone asked for female turians, and when we got em. Boom. They felt like gagging.

This is more due to the Dark Horse team's inability to draw in general.

Since according to lore Turian features are avian, the first one would actually make a lot of sense.
With birds and raptors the difference between males and females is mostly a slight difference in appearance, usually some obvious physical treat used to impress potential mates and rivals alike.

Ofcourse this wouldn't be particularly appealing to humans which is exactly what you are displaying in your post. But look at it form the bright side, she may not look like much to you, but she just might be able to lay you an egg for breakfast :)

I actually like the Official one, why should the look of Turian females comply with the Human ideals of beauty? also the fan-made one looks god awful.

HAHA!! It's true, but they did do pretty good with the lighting from the guns and such.

I don't think it's offical. But I assume he got the "egg laying" from the fact they're an avian-like species.

Their inks and colors are great, yes.  Penciller seems to be falling asleep at the wheel, though.

That Turian chick is hot. Looks more realistic then the fanmade one.

Comic one
Fan made on looks like some weird insect thing (no offense intended, its still done pretty well) and I didn’t want them to over feminise the female turains . You know just do the typical thing when trying to make something look feminine. Wider hips, slimmer waist, large eyes, boobs or enlarge ribcage giving the illusion off boobs. There are other ways of having sexual dimorphism!
That said the comic one is rather boring

I don't mind Dark Horse's design as long as there are female turians like this:

( they look like the DH ones but nicer, as Admiral Cheez says) and the one they shown in the comic is just an ugly female turian...

What, no fringe? Seems pretty damn unlikely to happen. I think there should be fringe even if it were smaller. Why would evolution leave head, such a vital part unprotected from Palaven's radiation?
Hell, men have nipples, and those damn things have never been useful.

Also, community, stop creeping me out with your art.

I find the comic one hideous. I hope they change it. Needs fringe.

Yeah, looking at the Bailey spin-off comic I kept on laughing everytime I saw his lips.

If Ashley Williams would turn into a turian, this would be it.

At least it should please the people who throw temper tantrums about how every female of the alien species' looks too attractive.

Female Turian was a surprise for me (just like Shadow Broker's appearance). If seeing them in the comic is an indication that they will also be in ME3, I would be very interested to see them.
