It's for that little boy who looked up to the stars with a twinkle in his eye and said:
'One day, when I grow up, I want to be an astronaut! I'll explore space; travel to the farthest reaches, in search of some hot-hot space ******. But I don't really want to study and work so hard as astronauts do.. also I don't really like traveling, or being in tight spaces..'
It's for him that Bioware took a stand and said the voices of the children would no longer be ignored! You should all take heart, because dreams really -do- come true! There shall be aliens! They shall be hot! And vicariously through Shepard, you will hit that!
... And yes, the child in question was in fact me. So I lied. It is for me, and for you.
Mostly me though.

And in honor of Captain James Tiberus Kirk.

Good job who did the official female turian!
I am tired of all this fan made images that mostly focus on sexual appeal.

Of course that's all that matters. We can't have female aliens that male humans wouldn't want to 'hit'. Because the only purpose and sense of existence of the female sex is to be appealing to men and to 'look cute' for them.Pwener2313 wrote...
I have had this image stored for almost two years of a fanmade female Turian.
Now, I would hit that, not the "bald" looking one. The second one actually looks cute, the first one is disgusting and if I hadn't looked in the wiki, I would have thought it was a male.

Well that's my take on this, what does everyone think?
Yeah, pretty sure you're creating a feminist debate where tnere really is no damned place for one, it's a debate about the eye candy level of Mass Effect characters, FFS. Can I point out to you that not all of us males are as aesthetically pleasing as the main characters from Mass Effect? We're playing a game with heroic characters, bla bla bla, I think the point here is that the butt fugly Turian female in the damned comic is just oddly hideous and what not for a Sapient character from the Mass Effect universe with no real reason attached; eg, look at the female Quarians. Sure, we could have a race where all the females look masculine and vaguely offensive to the player's eye, hell, I could walk around with vomit on my face. Doesn't make it a great idea? Ultimately, it's an aesthetic point. Why make it visually displeasing?
Also, Turian males are beautiful. Why are their females so formless and ugly? I think that's a damn fair point.
Don't be such a douche. It's a game. Enjoy yoself. I'm Rick James.

This person raises two good points. Firstly, Rick James.
But secondly, look at all the males in the Mass Effect series? I'm sorry but feminists don't have a leg to stand on in this debate, because every single guy in the series with the exception of Joker, is cut, diesel and often styled after a famous model. Look at Shepard, styled after Mark Vanderloo. Mark Vanderloo the fricken Calven Klein model! The guy who is as close to Zoolander as you can get in real life.
Saying that it's okay for all the males in Mass Effect to look stereotypically masculine, but it's not okay for females to be stereotypically feminine is quite sexist indeed. So shuttuppa yo face, stop complaning, and enjoy the hot alien babes and dudes!
Also, I'm pretty sure that this dream of one day finding hot aliens somewhere in the galaxy is all that's keeping NASA funded right now.
