 I am unable to complete the companion quest "A Bitter Pill" due to a glitch, please help.

I was able to enter the area "holding caves" without having Fenris in my party, so I figured the game would ask to put Fenris in the party once I got to the slaver's den. It didn't. 
I realized that Fenris was supposed to be in the party when I saw the cutscenes within the den that are supposed to involve Fenris; whenever Fenris was supposed to be in the camera, it would focus on an empty space between two other party members. There would still be Fenris' voice.
I beat the boss inside the den, Magister Hadriana, but nothing happened. She was simply dead. I could not loot the body, and the quest still told me to "search the hideout to find Magister Hadriana".  Actually bringing Fenris with me afterwards did nothing either (he did say a few lines while running through the den that are relevant to the quest, however). 

I had been using the quicksaves to play, so loading the latest point before this quest would put me back to 3 hours ago - is there anything that can be done? Please help!

Same thing happened to me. Bugs happen, but it's still annoying.

I too am having the same exact problem it wouldn't let me leave the area at all when i loaded into it, and i realized fenris is suppose to be with me

I have the same problem and I don't have a earlier save to fix that. Maybe some Patch coming?

These are the kind of bugs that drive me bannanas
