Who else did that Seerabas mission hoping in the end that Qunari mage would be a new compaion....I DID and so does everyone on my psn list. It would've been sweet but alas no go...... Who else wishes this. The Qunari are interestin and in the end of that mission i impressed the Arishok but man i want that Seerabas as a kick A member of team hawk.... maybe DLC can provide us with something that allows a Qunari companion maybe even a female that we can Romance.... *sighs* oh well but it would be cool to see dlc that involes somthing qunari. a temp team up or something.

Well theres my say on the matter I'll come back l8er to see the comments

I was excited for the prospect and was silently rooting for him as a new companion, but that didn't go so well. Definately wanted him to be my bud.

What about this Qunari who warns you of the other deserted Qunari? Who thinks he may have abandoned the Qun but still has honor. Maybe you get to recruit him in DLC.

Dunno. Good point, but there were loads of Qunari who were mercenaries in DAO too. I doubt that one was special.

Problem is they are responsible for the Qunari administration, education and economy as well. So we would have to go into Qunari territory which isn't very likely. Though I would have enjoyed a meet'n'greet with a female Qunari as well :/

There is a "Gather Your Troops" banner by the Qunari compound.  Surely it's someone's homebase.  Scrolled in to get a closer look at said banner in the hopes of figuring out.  On it there's six circles with faces within them.  One of them looks like it has horns.  But then, again, another one looks like it's wearing the Qunari mage collar....

*shrug*

The "traitor" mage, the suicidal-flames mage, or even a new female qunari written into the story. I desire Qunari DLC above anything else. Can we petition this anywhere?

Well, after I went out of the cave and saw the other Qunari I instantly knew he would die later on regardless of what I would do. I really like the new look of the Qunari but I think it's very difficult to implement a good Qunari companion.
They are all bound to do nothing else than their job and most on the lower end of the command chain surely aren't that good in foreign languages. But what about the Sten from Origins, some might ask. Well, first, he was a higher ranking commander to begin with, he was a special Qunari and your doings were in line with his duty.
And for Tal'Vashoth. It's stated most of them are savages and a Tal'Vashoth would be boring because even though he abandoned the Qun he still is educated Qunari so he most likely will be exactly like Sten.
Other than that, I would like to travel to Seheron and get a Qunari guide or something, that would be fun.

In Act II, you see him at the Hanged Man.  Also, in one of the bazaar stalls there's a Qunari something for sale.  Seems "gift-y" to me...  (I killed the Arishok so I don't know if I could get him to roll with me now, if it's even possible.)

I was also excited at the idea but was not terribly disappointed when he turned out not to be a companion. I thought it was a rather poignant quest and was the only point where I actually felt sympathy for a Qunari. It also solidifed my distaste of the idea of the Qun, it simply sounded like brain-washing, not a way of life.

Better get used to the Qun because it's the next big thing in Thedas... unless the templars and circle mages can resolve things and fight them off again.

I thought we'd get a secret Qunari companion due to the party select thing in front of the Qunari compound at the docks. I soon realized that it served another purpose for when Isabela was tagging along and she didn't feel like playing with the Qunari.

I personally would love to see a female Tal-Vashoth party member. A lady qunari who doesn't agree with the "women can't be warriors" idea, but struggles with it. And make her romancable!

Yeah, I too hope for a female Tal-Vashoth party member in the next Dragon age game or expansion. Because, unless a future DAO game offers us the opportuny to travel to the Qunari lands or even starts there... Or, alternatively, the Qunari starts a second full-scale invasion of Thedas (in which case they'd have Tamassrans with them), the best chance for a female Qunari party member is a Tal-Vashoth, simple as that.

As we're "moving" around Thedas in the DA franchise already we might be seeing a new entry (be it an expansion or a complete new game) in a region at the periphery of the Qunari. As we all know Rivain (correct me if I'm wrong) is at least in the top half under Qunari control and the story in DA2 might lead the Qunari to invade maybe Antivan and the northern Free Marches ... though I really would like to see a Qunari city :P

I had anticipated that the Saarebus would take his life either directly or by marching to find his fellows as soon as we met the party that sought to destroy him. My Hawke wanted to keep him alive being almost totally ignorant of Qunari culture. My suspicions came from all of those conversations that I had with Sten in DA:O. Sten didn't fully explain the Qun ... but he did lay down that your role in Qunari society was your purpose and the only true concern of the Qunari.

I would assume there are female saarebas out there that would not fall under those categories.
