Did I miss a section or a cave, because I can't seem to find the vanterall at sundermount I've gone to the top of the mountian and kicked a dragon in the teeth and no mantis dragon. went to the recently opened cave and Nothing. clicked on everyone in the area and even ran around with merill and various difrent companions.

Merrill companion quest, try it sometime. It unlocks after you took care of the poison gas business and report to the Vicount.

I have no quests for her. only thing left is blackpowder and herbalist.

It's after blackpowder. Sorry I forgot the quest name, it has somethign to do with poison gas.

ahh I figured it out I have to keep going along the black powder chain until I had a quest for each companion. thanks

It is the "Image Mirror" Companian Quest for Merill. After you go further more into the "Blackpowder" Main plot quest, you will have that companion quest. Finish it to get the vanterall heart.
