Thread title says it all! I'm in act two and plan to romance Fenris, but I was wondering what happens if you flirt up a second romance option? Merril really is too cute but she's going to hate my guts later after the mirror thing and I don't want to ruin my romance with Fenris over it...
What happens if you flirt up two romance options?

Well..... i know you can do it but not sure what happens next, i went for isabella first and everything was fine, she hoped in my bed, we talked about some love afterwards AND THEN i kinda accidently put merill on all 4 and told her to move in with me
and now i'm stuck, not sure what will happen now, and i'd rather have isabella

Hmm, that raises a good point. With no player initiated dialogue at all, you cannot end a relationship that has already become committed.

Merril and Anders c-block you so you can't romance anyone else if either of them moves in.
I learned that the hard way by accidentally allowing Anders to move in when he said he was being pursued by templars and needed a place to hide.
I thought the option "you're welcome here anytime" was friendly and not romance (no heart icon), but I was dead wrong. He basically violated my female Hawke totally without consent and then I couldn't romance anyone for the rest of the game, even if I always selected rivalry options with Anders.
I considered reloading an earlier save but it took me a while before I realized I couldn't romance anyone.

Indeed. If a love interest moves in, they're your one and only.
You can flirt with Isabela afterwards but there's no romance.

Eh...on mine Jubilee flirted with, ah, several people. Anders and Fenris...I do remember Anders saying something about "I don't know what she sees in you" after angry sexytimes with Fenris, but she never actually slept with Anders and ended the Fenris romance after he ducked out at one point.
For Merrill, Jubilee ended up telling her "I think of you as my sister" and got friendship points (some of the flirt options were telling her she was being cute and she was. Just wasn't meaning that in a flirty way, but whatever, lol). She didn't ever appear to be jealous.
