Hello everyone. I bought my copy yesterday and ı would like to share my first review about da 2. As a long time player, ı always care other gamers reviews and comments. This is the best and biggest thing we players share to each other. So ı hope after reading my review or not, you guys understand and doesnt flame me.

I just want to write here shortly about what good things and bad things dragon age 2 give us:

1: First of all, as a pc gamer ı want to tell you that graphics are really bad. I use 9800 gt  ( 512/256 bit ) and in first da game my settings were nearly top and ı got high fps. İn this game my settings are medium ( game doesnt allow me to high cause of dx 10 and dx 11 ) and antialising is at max. X8. Still graphics are so basic. And ı already knew that cause first game had more than 15 gb space and this one is only near to 6gb. ( by the way if you have high settings with dx 11 please look at the moon when you go to docks or darktown at midnight. Even the moon doesnt seem to round

I heard there is a patch for increase graphics quality but Bioware recommend this patch for only 1gb Dx11 card users. So i cant use this. and ı wont change my card for play this game in high settings. Anyway. I mean that with this old card ı play most of new games with high settings and now Bioware doesnt allow me to play with high settings.

About graphic section, this game fail.

2: I wont give spoilers here so dont worry. But ı would like to tell you that if you compare with the first game and this one, the starting of da 2 is worst.

3: The inventory section has biggest changed. and after playing nearly 6 hour ı still try to used to inventory. The first game's inventory section was more clear and had more explanation.

4: The story and maps are so linear. you cant feel free to explore maps.

5: honestly about new combat system, ı love to. Before buying this game, ı read tons of negative comments about the combat. People sad it is so fast and no more tactical. I dont agree this. İn first game our heros attacked slowly and  with all same animations. For increase combat speed ı used mod. But on this game the combat is more faster and the animations are so cool. Now i feel really like a mage when i play. So about new combat  system, i say it rocks!

6: About voice acting, mimics and musics are not well as the first game. These three thing are so poor that, ı cant feel the atmosphere and feelings anymore, what this game supposed to give.. And elfs are dramaticly bad looking..

7: İn first game ı really loved to equip my companions with great armors and weapons. But in this game we cant. Cause nearly everything we loot is restiricted for our main hero. We can only equip them with weapons and some sort of ring, belts.. I dont understand why Bioware removed a great feature from this game.

8: I am not sure about this but i guess we had to say good bye for dual wield weapons. I dont see any enemy carry it and ı still dont find any kind of weapons. 

9:  About waypoint system, now it is better than the first game. İt is clear and even show you when you must go to complete a guest. İn first game ı had really hard times for find guests waypoint. 

10: And the last thing that, fatalities are not same as the first game.

these are my first impressions about this game. Yes the title is Dragon Age but honestly ı dont see my self to play a dragon age. this game combines from Jade empire and kotor.  So after completing ı guess this will uninstall from my comp. and ı hope Bioware can be more careful about Mass effect 3 and Star wars the old republic. Cause if these upcoming titles will be closely same with da 2, it will damage your name.
