So if Carver joins the templars because I leave him out of the deep roads expedition.. does he ever come to visit or anything? Does he live in the Amell Estate as well? And will he side with me in the final battle if a side with the mages? =D

As a Grey Warden he comes back and even joins you again in Act 3.

He doesn't visit but he will side with you in the end. My exp. with this was leaving him outta Deep Roads and siding with mages as a MageFemHawke.
