Why do these threads always end up being like 30+ pages long? Well almost there ... there's really not much to discuss --  Its pretty much a fact for the following:

DA2 sucks
DA2 employees caught red handed giving fake reviews
DA2 does what any major blockbuster hit does, cheat on the reviews
DA2 was made with $$ profit as primary goal, giving user a great product was a distant near the bottom of the list

Don't quote me or respond.  Who the f has time to go read 1000s of words to see nonsense when at the end of the day, DA2 sucks and majority will not give a penny to EA for DA3.  So Bioware, milk DA2 all you can, but you just killed what could've been a great franchise.

You can bet your ass they did. Had the game been made by an unknown developer it would have gotten 6's.

Waves of paratroopers, bloated boss HP, three environments to explore, and a complete lack of choices having any impact upon the world.

I like the wave system, though I agree that it could have been implemented more gracefully.  -.1

I like bosses with more health, though then again I raided "hardcore" in World of Warcaft.  This is a subjective point you mistakenly listed as objective.  + .6

The repetition of environments was bad, I agree.  -1

Origins didn't let you impact the world at all, either.  I, personally, am able to realize the technical and narrative constraints with "choices mattering" in modern gaming, so I disagree that this is a detriment to DA2 specifically.

10 - 1.1 + .6 = 9.5!

Not that I believe the game is a 9.5 - I'd say 8.5 to 9 depending on how DLC might affect the story from here on out.  I just wanted to point out how idiotic number rating systems are and how they, too, can have subjective elements.  I also wanted to point out how entirely unobjective you are, despite your best attempts.

Thank God you're not a reviewer, your attempt at developing a method to rate a game is borderline retarded. Subjective amount of points taken away from a total of 100%, adding another batch of subjective amount of points to it...hey guess what, if a game has 10 flaws and 10 good things going for it IT GETS 100% ACCORDING TO YOU!
