DA:O took me 75 hours of real time to complete.

This seemed very short , and you advertised that it would span a decade, well 7 years isnt a decade.

Not really happy with this one guys, DA:O was so much better than this.

I got 50 hours out of it. And I got about 60 hours out of DA:O.

They said it was shorter than DAO. Wasn't a hidden fact.

38 hours here, pretty solid. Did most side quests. I think.

I'm past 32 hours and still not done, but this game DEFINITELY feels much shorter than DAO, which is sad.

I knew it was shorter, but come on. I doubt this will take longer than my ME2 playthroughs though, since my last playthroughs of ME2 took me about and around 70 hours, which is something I'd expect out of DAO.

DAO complete playthroughs can be as 'short' as 35 hrs even if you do most sidequests, but yeah it does seem DA2 is "shorter".

I don't really mind as it has much better companions and quests, and much less "artificially filling time" quests.

14 hours in and I still haven't done the Deep Roads expedition. Really why does it matter if this game is shorter than DA:O? 35-40 hours is solid time. What should be more important is if the game didn't feel too dragging.

Not hard. I do every single assignment and mission possible. Tack that on with the DLC's and I get about 70 hours out of it.

Its understandable that without DLC's DA2 will fall short, but still, this game feels tiny in comparison to DAO and Bioware's other later titles.

Took Stanley and I about the same amount of time to get to the Deep Roads. About 16 1/2 hours.

16-17 hours for Act 1.

A 100% completion for me is around 40 hours for DA:O and 25 for ME2 so I'm pleased.

Clearly I'm very, very slow, since I'm 46 hours in and still in Act 3 with a decent chunk of it still to do.

My first playthrough was about 25 hours. Anyone around 15 must be skipping dialogue, which is no fun. I know I missed a few quests, but I can't see that getting me past 30. Maybe I just play at a faster clip, or maybe some others take long AFKs while playing? Difficulty is also a factor I suppose, I was on normal.

My question would be, what level were you upon completion? I was at 22.

I got about 45 hours out of it. Fairly completionist, but I'm not obsessive about completionism except in Zelda games. I was level 23 when I finished.

People all play at different paces. I can't sit in front of the game more than a couple of hours at a time (wife and kids), so when I do play I take my time and make sure not to rush. I also want to make sure I explore every nook. DA:O was an 80 hour affair 4 different times, and I am not to the Deep Roads expedition in the new game and I'm at 8 or 9 hours. It's been fun so far. Not ready to throw this game under the bus.

The first game didn't take me 75 hours, but it sure felt like it did.

This game is shorter, but the pacing is far, far superior.

EDIT: Also, 7 years is how much time you skipped over. Each act that you played out personally was a year of time.

I don't think length is going to be a problem for me; I didn't even get to the Deep Roads until I was a good 20 hours in. Side quests are so much more satisfying than they were in Origins.
