Not one seen in Dragon Age 2... anywhere.
Now, the reason I am posting this here is because I hope we get one as a DLC companion. I picture a somewhat tall Female Dwarf, walking around with a big hammer made of rock, and an intense loathing of pigeons!
Anyone else think this is a fun idea...
Bring back Shayle Cadash, Bioware.... pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease
Female Dwarves... or lack thereof

I want:
Shayle Cadash (bird-killing warrior extraordinaire)
Sigrun (Last of the Legion)
Dagna (Dwarf "Mage")
They need banners XD

TriviaAeducan, oh my god you are so right. Shayle, Sigrun and Dagna would make awesome additions to the party
Although having Sigrun, Dagna and Merill in your party at the same time will make you have a cuteness and perkiness overdose, I imagine.

They fled when Bioware fuglyized so many of the male dwarves...

I forgot Dagna and Sigrun!
Dagna would be interesting. Maybe make her an alchemist who uses potions and whatnot since she cannot cast spells...
And Sigrun. She was my FemBrosca's Best friend! I'd love to see her again..
To the Deep Roads, Bioware... Maybe a run-in with Oghren (training his child how to fight).

There are plenty of alchemical bombs -- who about a Dagna that makes all sorts of things and has a unique skill tree or two based on throwing vials around?

I noticed right off the lack of female dwarves in the game. I was really disappointed. I knew there weren't going to be any Qunari women, but didn't recall seeing anything that said the same for the dwarf females. I had really been looking forward to the "roller derby" concepts and seeing how different they looked in DA2. Wish I had known! =(

The female dwarves are hanging out in some mythical land with the female qunari.
I think that's where Hawke and Warden disappeared to. Quite the conspiracy, indeed.

Heck, I'd be happy seeing a DLC Female Dwarf Companion... one of the ones mentioned above, or a new one. Talk about the perfect foil for Varric!

I could see now..exactly how that would work out... you would go to Varric who would have some sorta of quest to get into you into the deep roads n just like the Anders quest...it would get you a new companion...only this one is dwarf female and she turns out to be either Varric's wife(meaning a male hawke can't romance her...since only a female can romance Seb) or she's Varric hot younger sister(whom a male can romance).

Thought I saw a female qunari in the midst of a bunch of males I was fighting once.

BioWare ate them just like Qunari female and Turian female also Krogan female...they're missing for now.

they're all inside because Varrics overwhelming manliness impregnated them, the streets of kirkwall arent safe enough for a pregnant woman.
and the Quenari not having many females makes sense since its a stranded military ship and the quenari dont have female warriors.

dagna can't use magic, but maybe if she and sandal have a kid, since one of the dialogues mentions something about how he might be learning it, perhaps you could have there kid be a mage companion in a sequel DA game.

That makes me wonder... of Dagna can't use magic, could she use a magical staff. It might be interesting to make her a staff user who is limited to throwing flasks and mysterious stones that go 'boom'.
Now I want Dagna and Shayle to have their own Adventure!!!
