Interesting... there are only 4 tents, and 2 beds outside of tents. That means some characters have to share tents. If you look, 2 tents are larger than the others. It would make the most sense to me if Sten and Oghren shared a tent, and, of course, the hero and Alistair. They can be bedfellows
Of course, the hero wakes up on the bed outside in the beginning of the game after Lothering, but that's before other characters even come along.
EDIT: Actually, only one is larger. Well, I suppose Zevran and Oghren can share. Oghren's little. It's also possible qunari don't need much sleep.

I think what you should consider if you have to compromise is to have all of alistairs dialogue in a hushed or quiet voice (like the tone he uses when talking about the grey warden nightmares) it's easier to imitate than his normal voice.
I'm glad this is going to be an inclusive project, i'll be watching it more closely now and weighing in if you need it. As for the side area I think it's important to maintain a balance between privacy and total seclusion. Morrigans solution is good because it's on the edge of the camp but you don't feel like you're out of it. It would be good if you felt like you were still part of the camp and around it but still had a bit of privacy with Alistair.

I missed those posts, I'm opening up the game to check out these places. You might want to load up the camp area in the toolset (and turn off the lighting to make it easier to see) and you can circle some areas where you think it could go for better comparison.
EDIT : I mean the way that Morrigans tent is further away from everybody elses to emphasize the difference between her and everyone else and the social dynamics.

I've been thinking about the logistics a bit and I have a couple of ideas. The main focus of the romances in the game so far is conversations. The cutscenes tend to be relegated to sexy times, but I think we can use cut scenes to our advantage because they don't need as much (or any) voice work compared to conversations. Shared moments, glances, smiles - that stuff is universal and doesn't need anyone explicitly talking about what's going on.
Also I've been wondering about scavenging voice work from other sources but there we might be in iffy copyright territory. It might be worth a look if we can't find a suitable voice actor to cover Alistair and absolutely have to have voice work in it.
Another thing is the PC. The game already offers a wide variety in personality choices when involved in a conversation and I think some of the pivotal conversations the PC has with Alistair (and the origins) should affect the mod-plot. A virgin mage would react to and initiate different things than, say, a worldly dwarf noble or a city elf who believes in arranged marriages.

One thing which could be considered noteworthy is the fact that Alistair is apparently fascinated by magic. I don't have the source of this information, but I'm pretty sure it's genuine, since he's intrested in runestones and the like.
This could lead to special dialogue options for mage PCs. Just a thought.

^ correct. which adds since he was a Templar-in-Training, for even more complex issues.

And he likes the mage robes. He mentions it to my male mage when they're talking about how he keeps his templar uniform under his pillow.

Speaking of Templar uniform, it seems the newest DLC, Return to Osragar, Alistair will be getting a Templar outfit (middle pic)
Well, I'm hoping it's him.
Svexy! hehe

Well, I think I'll start a new topic in the project so we can throw around story ideas.
