high dragon Strategy?

Im playing as a ranged rouge and cant seem to beat it does anyone have an effective strategy for it? my companions are Anders,Merril, and Aveline

The dragon itself is pretty easy. Control Aveline and make sure she has the attention of the dragon at all times. When the dragon turns to her, strafe to the side of the dragon. It'll attempt to claw, chew, or breathe on Aveline, but it'll miss. It'll hop and face Aveline after a couple seconds. Strafe to the side of the dragon again. Keep doing this over and over. Sometimes the dragon will attempt a wing buffet, but that attack doesn't deal very much damage.
If you're not playing on nightmare, then the next phase is even easier. Just have Merril and your archer blow everything up with AoE. Place fire resistance runes in your armor slots if you can't handle the damage intake in this phase.
If you're playing on nightmare, then you need to exploit a ledge nearby and have the small dragons funnel through the chokepoint. This phase is extremely difficult on nightmare without significant DPS to burn down the small dragons because they deal truckloads of damage on top of the high dragon throwing fireballs at you.
