Ouch, as I read this title I thought there WAS a fix finished. My heart fluttered for a moment. *cry*

I do apologize. I found one fix on a forum using the toolset but it did nothing for me.

Well, it IS possible to fix it using the Toolset, many people add items to the world of Ferelden. So, it's very possible to add the boots to the Chantry Cabinet of Lothering. That's apparantly where they're supposed to be.
The boots name is apparantly: gen_im_arm_bot_med_elv

Yeah but I do not want to restart and would like them added ANYWHERE but lothering. But of course would be nice to get unofficial fix for new games.

Maybe a way to add gen_im_arm_bot_med_elv in console?
#8
Posté 16 novembre 2009 - 04:40
That would be the best but no one knows a command to add items in the console, as far as I know.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will when I reach Lothering and open the chantry cabinet. I don't want to get ahead of things hehe. I wish someone could atleast just make a quick DLC and add it to the cabinet directly. That would have been so awesome. If any of you know how to do things like that? Care to help the community out? There's a lot of people waiting for this who would be mighty grateful!

The item he names it to on his post is wrong, that's why it didn't work for you, it should be: gen_im_arm_bot_med_elv

Anyway, I was editing the chantry cabinet to add the boots, but as soon as I try to save it, the toolset crashes on me

did it work with gen_im_arm_bot_med_elv

did you have to remove all other INT32 values or just add the ones he said?

I never tried it, I just had a look at it. I have been trying to add the boots to the cabinet directly but everytime I try to save the goddamn thing the toolset crashes.

I could give it a try too - is there any specific plot that tells you that the boots are there? - couse if i could just check that plot flag and add them to your inventory if it is set allready or somethign like that...

If you can edit this:
www.vinterdimma.se/files/lot110ip_cabinet.utp
To look like this:
www.vinterdimma.se/files/lot110ip_cabinet.gif
and somehow post the file I can download and test?

Do you happen to know the area name for the lothering chantry too - that would help a great deal here - couse then i could just add the item via an area script to the cabinet when you enter that area.

Sure, it's called: al_lot110ar_chantry.rim
Will it add it every time you enter or just once?
