Yeah.. I'm wondering.. is there any way of healing them in their "No-Heal modes"?
I mean.. I'm pretty annoyed there is no such thing as the usual blood magic sacrifice spell thingy..
What is your way to handle this or is there any spell or item that works?
If there is a special tactic that works, you could post that too, please..
.. my only idea for now is..

>90% Life: Activate
<50% Life: De-activate
<50% Life: Heal

.. is that all I can do?

Sure, you can turn off the modal ability and heal, although you'll have to deal with cooldowns. Alternately, Merrill and Anders both have abilities that regain health unaffected by blood magic/vengeance. One of Anders's passives gives him health each time he kills an enemy (10% I think). Merrill's wrath of the elvhen has an upgrade that restores health every 4 seconds (1% for each enemy in range). Whether or not these abilities are useful to you will, obviously, depend on your play style a great deal.

What about death syphon? I haven't tried that out.
