Hi guys

I downloaded the full game trial for Mass Effect a few weeks ago. I earned 3 easy trophies but they were 'bubbled' because I hadn't bought the game yet. I chose to buy the retail disc version. As I progressed through the story I noticed the trophies that I earned during the trial were still 'bubbled'. The other trophies were unlocking like normal and were syncing with my PSN.

I don't know what's the problem, I thought the 'bubbled' trophies unlock after you purchase the game. The only thing that I think that may have caused this is that I deleted the full game trial save data before I started up the disc version.


It's a shame because I wanted to platinum this great game.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Well maybe it's a ME2 specific problem, I played the Borderlands Full Trial just yesterday and went and bought the disc game today and all the trophies worked out. Maybe try and achieving those trophies again and they may trigger.

I've tried achieving the trophies again but no luck. I think you maybe right about being a ME2 specific problem, because when you go into check your trophies from your cabin the game shows that i've already earned them trophies. But when you check the trophies in the xmb it's 'bubbled' still.

Anyone think it will be patched?

Have you contacted Sony at all? The Trial functionality is handled by the Playstation network. Please let me know what they have to say.

Hi I contacted Sony and they've said they can't replicate the problem themselves and the issue might be localized. They said there's nothing they could do.

I really wanted to achieve a platinum. I only needed a few trophies.


I'm never downloading a full game trial again.
