HI guys,
I've been reading many of the posts and glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing frustration.  First of all, I think I meet (and exceed) the recommended requirements to play this game.  Here they are:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU  P8700 @ 2.53Ghz (2 CPUs)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M (Appx Memory=3817MB)
DirectX 11
RAM: 6144
Video and  sound drivers were updated yesterday.

Does anyone think I'm missing something in regards to recommended requirements?  Any advice will be helpful.

Here's the problem I'm having.  When I start playing the game, everything seems to run smooth, but within 5 minutes the game gets sooooooo choppy that entire diaglogs are missed - not choppy, but completely missed.  Basically the game just stops for about a minute and then continues for 1 frame and stops.  It does this for several minutes until it seems to 'catch up' to the actual gameplay.

I spent over 2 1/2 hours trying so many difference video configuration settings and none of them work.

Unless I actually DON'T have the recommended requirements, I am at a complete loss on how to fix this.

Just wanted to share this with everyone.  Thanks.
(I'll appreciate any sugesstions, but I think we'll all be waiting for a patch release)

As i've said mate to others, I've got a powerful PC only a few months old, Quad core etc and when i play it with DX11 well it doesnt run at all to be fair, so laggy etc. All i can say is download the high res textures and play that along with using DX9, apart from the odd shadows looking pixelated, it still looks the same and feel great :)..

One thing leaped out at me: Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M (Appx Memory=3817MB)

This is not the same as the 260 GTX. I don't know what quality settings you are running at, but try reducing them a bit. I think you may be below the recommended but above minimum.

Thanks guys. I didn't try running it in DirectX9. I'll try that and see what happens.
Thanks again!
