Honestly, not as bad as I feared. I'm purposely avoiding button mashing though so my characters not as active as it could be.

Kirkwall is large, but with a few exceptions here and there you see lots of people milling around who don't say anything. Those that do seem a bit random. Like the game does not adjust the volume of a conversation based on distance.

Lot's of very strange side quests that  come down to finding a random object and giving that object to someone who you never met before. The actual main quests are rather well done and entertaining. Without going into too much detail.

Even though I'm not that far in the re-use borders on cynical. They even concrete off areas of the map to guide you down the right maze.

Varric is a great personality, seems to bring out the best in whatever other companions you happen to have around. Bethany really improves from the demo, she's now using her recognisably "Daphne" voice more often.

My biggest complaint and it really is a biggie for an RPG is I feel a disconnect with Hawke.

She disapears during time skips and does things I have no knowledge of. If I am supposed to be Hawke in the game, this makes no sense at all. I should know what Hawke knows, not be greeted by random people who I have never seen before if I am Hawke, which I clearly am not .

Chapter 1 is lacking in direction I think thats why it's taking people such variable ammounts of time. It's very like Baldurs Gate 2 chapter 2, but without the motivation and urgency of BG2's story line.

That's it for now. Don't think there are any spoilers in there.
