My game keeps crashing as I try to enter Sundermount; I can't even finish the loading screen. It is constant, and reloading doesn't help at all. All other areas that I have entered seem to work normally, but try to enter Sundermount and the game crashes.

DirectX 9
Inter® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz (4 CPUs)
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250.
2048 RAM

What might be causing this? Help, pretty please?

Seconded. I have the same problem, though a reinstall let me get about 10 feet into sundermount.
I have the latest visual C++ runtimes files,
graphic drivers
and 1.01 patch.

I had 3 crashes in a row while trying to go through the gates to the elven camp there, though the 4th try worked fine and I completed act 1 with only a couple of random freezes.

Something is obviously wrong with that location.

I'm having the same problem. It was never an issue in Act 1, but as soon as Act 2 started, I can't get past the loading screen without the game crashing.

Of all the zones.....Sundermount has the worse lag for me. I don't crash, but its painful to move through the area.
