Anyway, when editing Hawke, the Family doesn't change their looks - at all. They stay at default no matter what you do. Some has adressed this issue, haven't seen a response - yet.
It breaks immersion and some have commented on it. And isn't it weird to be hispanic and everyone is milky white?
If there is a fix, then sure - give it, please? Just don't go pompous on me as you always do; "look more". I would if there was a search function. No fix on most comments given out about this issue.

Hawke's family have 4 morphs, the choice of which one is used is based on the PRESET that you choose for Hawke. I believe the first 3-4 are the defualt Hawke, next 2 are more Hispanic, then there are Asian morphs, then the last 1-2 are dark-skinned family morphs. Be aware that some of the presets do not match with the family morphs for that preset. Example, your family members will never be blonde even though preset 3 is. Hope this works/was what you were looking for.

No, I didn't.
As I start the game, my family still remains the same no matter what.
Using the Black Emporium somehow managed to -CHANGE- the eye color of the family. But nothing else.

Unfurtunately, I saw my friend choose the third option of Preset (the one after the first 2 defaults) and the family members changed their looks.
Too bad they didn't look so pretty at all.
That is to say, he used it as his base, but when he started the game his family looks incredibly horrible. He even wanted to create a new character, but he was fine with it because he wouldn't use Bethany that much anyway.

It seems like his family goes haywire each time he tries to use the Black Emporium, yet my family doesn't change no matter what I use.
I even tried using the presets for both male and female, ALL OF THEM that is; At the creation screen.
My family still stays as the default Hawke family. I haven't used the Black Emporium because of Bioware's explanation that there are repercussion for using it... atleast that is what the description of it says.

Started a new character once more using the LAST option in the preset slider. (The more 'darker' skinned variant)
Family is still default.
*sigh* I don't think reinstalling works however.
