Posting this so the thread doesn't die. I've searched the internet everywhere as well, no one is selling it on eBay or Amazon. I've submitted requests on Reddit and still nothing. I would love this poster to complete my collection of the series, please consider doing a reprint or at least posting a high resolution image somewhere.

Oh MAN! I was just thinking what a sweet poster that ME1 box art would be. Oh well, at least I have the Prima Guide - never opened it 'till I read this thread.

I'm going to try that iron trick. My Empire Strikes back poster reproduction with the crease in it is still my favorite one.

You should make a list of the people that would get it if it was reintroduced in the OP. I don't personally want one but it would be great to see it available for the ones that do.

Bringing bak that poster would definately be a good idea. Especially if you consider there's no other ME1 related merchandise available anymore.

+ most people who order the poster probably will order 1-2 other items from the shop too.

While I'm pretty sure BioWare won't re-stock this item, it is a real shame that it's basically gone forever now. If we can't get a physical for-sale item which I'd gladly pay for, then I'd throw my voice in asking for a high-res image so we can print our own.

Though I guess EA probably owns the rights to that kind of thing now so the odds of that happening are just as slim (can't have people produce something we're not making money on, even if we're not making money on it anyway) so maybe if somebody out there who does have the one of the original runs could get it scanned and uploaded someplace then we could get it that way. It really is a pretty fantastic poster and I'd hate to see it disappear.

I'm curious on why they don't re-release the poster anyway. One could think selling a product there is a high demand for around the fanbase would be seen as opportunity to generate income.

But then again, they deleted the Patches too which I'd believe, didnt sell all that bad either.

Let's just hope they change their mind.

I think the problem is they can't be sure what the demand really is. I mean, even this thread is only what, 4 pages? They can keep re-stocking the N7 sweatshirt because they've seen a consistent demand for it (probably helps that the Penny Arcade guys drew their characters wearing it) but the movie poster I think stuck around for a bit before they sold off all their inventory.

But at the same time I keep seeing new stuff in the store all the time, so I can't imagine that they just don't want to eat the printing costs since they're doing that already, and at the cost of producing new artwork, too. I'm sure there's some kind of system they're adhering to when it comes to stocking items but from the outside I don't have a clue what it might be.

Ok I get your point, but that if they add posters,patches etc. again it will sell out. The question is just how long it will take. Why not just test it? Besides, I know there's many people who consider ME1 their favourite title of the series. They much rather want ME1 merchandise than anything else.

Also the patches would have sold much better if they had a version with a velcro back (like the N7 patch in the collectors edition). But I mentioned that in another thread already...

Just playing devil's advocate, I guess. I don't like it any more than you do, just positing theories on why they might stop producing it.

Still gonna keep asking for at least a high-res image scan, though. If I can still buy a poster of a crappy sci-fi movie from the 60s online then you'd think one for an awesome sci-fi game from '07 would be a bit more readily available.

Maybe we should mail treehousebrandstore and start some kind of petition? I don't really know how to convince em otherwise. Since Bioware is reading here too, they would have at least noticed. But that's not enough it seems.

Also updated my thread with the patches I own (threw them under the scanner). Could add those to the
petition as well.

I remember hearing that bioware dictates what is and isn't made. I think we need to get their attention if we're going to ever see the ME1 poster restocked.

Don't think I've heard much of anything about the stocking process. You remember where you heard it, by chance? Any insight folks have into how it's all produced and sold would give us a better understanding of where to go.

If anybody has an image or a hi-res copy of the cover art they could upload, I'd even be willing to see if I could recreate it myself. I'm no designer, but these are just a few attempts I've made at producing some movie-style posters for some of BioWare's other titles:







Imagery for these titles seems much easier to come by, which I find distinctly odd. Really we just need a jumping-off point and the community can handle the rest.

I've recently started looking for places where I can Purchase the ME 1 poster, but I also can't find it anywhere. I've tried googling, binging, amazon, and ebay, but I can't find it anywhere. The ME 2 posters are relatively easier to find, but mostly I WANT to purchase the official ME1 poster with no luck. Please help!!!! lol:)

Some of the lithos have appeared hi-res, but sadly this hasn't.

A lot of the old Mass Effect images have become hard to come by.  I have seen the fold up poster appear on ebay a few times, when it does appear it doesnt sell for that much. The fact its fold up is enough reason.

It would be cool if they could do a run of these again. Im sure they would sell faster then some of the remaining lithos they have in storage.

Just an FYI for those wanting the poster,

 

if you can get your hands on the strategy guide for the game(at least the UK version) their is a pullout version in that.  Okay it's not the best method but better than nothing
