 So, yeah, anyone notice the parallels ? At least they hit me pretty hard during that quest where you escort the "leashed" one to his "leash holder"
Then I realised they're invaders coming from across the sea as well...

Yup. Realized it the moment they posted pictures of their Saarebas.

Then again, the damane = saarebas is pretty much the only parallel you can draw. The Qunari live their lives by the Qun, while you really can't say the same for the Seanchan.

They also have large ships, aspire to a unified nation, and accept converts into their society.  Bonus points for Par Vollen.
