I got my copy from Best Buy Wednesday and started to play it as soon as I got home, then ran into the glitch. 

It's like a hiccup on the CG movies - brief stutter of less than a second.  The images jump horizontally then reset themselves.  And it's only on the video segues.  The rest of the game plays fine.

So far, I've had it happen on three separate occassions:

• The introduction movie when Varric is being "convinced" to tell Cassandra the Champion's story
• After orge battle, the second wave comes in - and Flemmeth swoops in to save the party
• After the battle with the Templars, when Anders sends Karl on his way

At first I thought it was just a random accident.  But, I reloaded my save for the last glitch and played the battle again.  It still skipped.

So, I went ahead and exchanged my copy for a new one at Best Buy.  Hopefully, it won't happen again.

Could it have been a bad batch with the first release of the game?  Or is it like this on all copies?

Anyone know?

BTW, I have the game installed on my hard drive and have cleared by memory cache before I played the game.
