killing the keeper isn't an option for me, this must be near the end of the game...which makes getting it pointless

Is this where the dragon is or is this at the site where you summon forth Flemeth?

I just went there, I dont see it. Maybe it only shows up later on. Or, god forbid, I did see it at one point, but somehow lost it.

I had originally assumed that I had sold it to a vendor during act 2, only to loot it from the exact spot mentioned above during act 3(after having completed the Champion's set XD).

I can't help but think that this particular armor piece was misplaced--it's the only piece of the special "Act 2" armor set that isn't actually in Act 2. Since I happened to have fought the high dragon at the very start of Act 3, it was a bit redundant at the time.

At any rate, yes, it's in a gravestone in the place where you revived Flemeth. The graves don't have any items in them outside of Act 3, and be warned that one or two of the graves trigger battles.

I think they said in the thread that they are in the gravestones in Sundermount where you took Flemeth's amulet, lol.

The thing is, it is pretty much the same for all 3 classes. Each of them has an 'Act 2' armor set piece only available in 'Act 3' and by time you might get round to it, you could potentially have most (if not all) of the 'Champion' set which to some extent IMHO makes it a little bit pointless, unless you go straight for it at the start of Act 3.

On my first playthrough as Warrior, I (rather stupidly) went and bought the Act 2 chestpiece just before I went for the fight with the High Dragon (which dropped the Champion Chestpiece for Warriors), thankfully am replaying that playthrough as used wrong import file, so I don't think am going to bother building up the Act 2 set this time around. Currently on my first Mage playthrough, not sure if am going to bother with Overseer set, I think if I was leaning towards a Templar-siding playthrough I'd consider it but I prefer this Hawke wearing the Notorious Pirate style outfit seeing as he is romancing Isabella and a complete and utter charmer/prankster (even if he is a pure buffer/healer/forcemage)
