I can deal with the emo eye shadow and the woe-me cry baby slave attitude, but at full health, when we're not in combat, his stamina says 39/130 with 91 in reserve...what is the deal with being in reserve and how do I take it out of reserve?

Make sure you don't have any sustain abilities activated.

True! Thanks! I had Control, Bravery and Lyrium Ghost all active...so how do I use those abilities if they seem to totally cripple my stamina? I sorta ignored stamina for the first 10 upgrades (unless the AI did it with auto upgrades) so I think my characters are behind.

Warriors are not going to end up with too much stamina since they don't invest in willpower. Basically, keep the sustains active that you need for a situation and turn the rest off. Additionally, spend a few points in willpower for a higher total stamina pool. You realistically, as a warrior, only need enough stamina to do a full burst of attacks. Then you can use autoattacks and other methods to replenish your stamina for the next burst.

I usually roll with one sustained ability at all times and then only use others when needed. For Fenris I always have Lyrium Ghost active.
