The ability to toggle friendly fire on or off on any difficulty level?
Normal is way to easy, enemies explode as if being thrown into a meat grinder when hit, and "nightmare" is just that... a nightmare.
It would be nice to have Friendly Fire capability on the dificulty level between Normal and Nightmare.

I was just looking for a mod to add FF to hard mode. I generally find 'nightmare' modes frustrating with stupidly artificially inflated enemy health pools. I haven't even started the game yet though so it's possible that won't be a problem.
EDIT: bleh didn't mean to submit. Just wanted to add that I wasn't able to find something that did this, and if it's possible to produce it would be much appreciated if some talented person made it

Friendly fire is actually "on" for all difficulties, just scaled down, or so it says in the difficulties.gda which leads me to believe that friendly fire for lower difficulties may be controlled by scripts rather than something which can be easily modded right now. I could, of course, be wrong.

My run on normal: The only spell I notice that actually hits you for noticable friendly fire is Tempest the one that throws lightning bolts to the ground. I.e the electrical version of firestorm.

I'd vote for this option too, if someone can figure out how to do it. I'm irked that they didn't include a toggle for it separate from the difficulty level.

I still have no idea why they don't have this as a game option, since everyone has their own ideas about the degree to which this is a fun challenge or a horrible misery.
