There are no refunds if you happen to not like it that's stupid. After you watch a movie in the cinema and it turns out it sucks do you go demanding your money back at the ticket office? Or if you go see your favourite sports team and they lose do you demand your money back then? etc etc.

The refund rules don't apply if you are not satisfied with it.

False analogy. Buying a game is not the same as watching a movie. Buying a game and buying a movie are the same. A game is a product, something physical, something that you can play at your own lesure. A show is a live event. Returning DA2 doesn't require you to travel in time.

Are you really that daft?

Yes.
Quit about 10-15 hours in. Uninstalled.
Worst Bioware game I've ever played.
In the process of sending it back.

so, you played for 10-15 hours THEN decided that it was the worst Bioware game you have played, or did you decide that early on, and simply decide to keep playing?

Anyhoo, love the game and would not want money back, unless I get to also keep the game, which is growing rapidly on me. Not my favorite bioware game in honesty, but a good one none the less.

No. I would however like a patch fixing any bugs. It is not as bad as the rediculus amount of complaining. It's still fun with a decent story just not as great as previous Bioware games. I do wish it was named as a spinoff and not dragon age 2 though.

I was perfectly aware of the seemingly premature negative press it was getting. I had played the demo and felt I knew what to expect. Plus I've never been let down by a Bioware game before. I decidedly witheld judgment for this game, although I had some apprehensions based on many of the games developments over the year (lol). Let's say I was quietly optimistic that it would at the very least be enjoyable.

My list of complaints is far too extensive to list in this thread. But I suppose I already answered your question.

It's a really great game so far. Looking forward to more. No, I don't want a refund. My big complaint is that I don't have the time to play it more. But I probably have myself to blame for that.

I'd like a refund to be perfectly honest.

I thought I was buying Dragon Age and it turned out I was buying Dynasty Warriors.

Fine for like £10-£15, but no way worth £40.

Have you every played a Dynasty Warrior game? It and DA 2 are nothing alike.

Mhmm.  Waves of enemies spawn out of nowhere.  You mash buttons blindly and things die.

Seems pretty similar to me.

Ho-ho, more warbling from the nihilists. This thread has more smug in it than a Greenpeace rally.

Love the game, definitely better than DA:O.

If there is something ME2 and DA2 taught me is to never put your hopes up on their games again. don't expect much to be similar from the sequel and you should be fine.

Agree. BioWare / EA has proven 100% that you cannot put your faith in them. But, not all is lost, just make sure to buy Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Diablo 3 and forget about BioWare and EA.

No - for several reaons:

- I'm not THAT dissatisfied, game is ok, I have played worse
- my own fault for preordering and not taking the warning voices seriously

But I'll think twice before preordering a Bioware game again.

No, I don't want a refund, but a) I'm not a snot-nosed nerdraging kid and B) I'm enjoying the game. So, to those of you who aren't enjoying the game, It Sucks To Be You. I would suggest turning that frown upside down, but that's simply not an option for some folks. Oh well, back to Kirkwall for me...
