When I get to where the character creation screen shows up, I get a black screen with nothing but the default Lady Hawke on it. Game doesnt freeze as music stays on and mouse cursor moves, but apart from that nothing happens evenwhen I try clicking with the mouse or pressing any key on my keyboard. Even exiting the game can be done by alt+tab or alt+ctrl+del.. Tried starting the game again, but same issue happened the again..
I might just be missing on something trivial here, but would appreciate some advice..

Got this fixed, so in case someone has the same issue here is what I did:
The problem wasnt with my graphic drive, so I thought I just try to uninstall and reinstall the game. I didnt install directX the first time (had it already), but thought I would give it a try, so I first installed directX, then the game. I am no expert, so cant tell if installing only one or the other would have fixed the issue, but point is it works fine now.
