I love the game!

Of course that really doesn't matter, what matters is cold cash.  Is DA2 selling well?  I hope so.

When will we get sale numbers?

Well truth be told there are 3 different versions of DA2, so it isn't really surprising neither is in the top 5.

Its not likely to change for the better either because of all the dissapointed customers... me being one of them. DA:O was a game I recommended to all my friends that like rpg, or even bought as a birthday gift for them etc. Its rather the opposite with this sequel.

you pretentious RPG hipsters are hypocrites. You'll criticize the game for allegedly reaching out to a mass audience, then expect the game to sell poorly because some of the RPG elitists don't like it

Im sorry, but whomever is running Bioware is a complete moron, you try to make an RPG to get the COD crowd, even tho the COD for the most part doesnt give a crap about RPG's, a game that came out in November "cod black ops" outsold DA this month!!!

I think Mikey Laidlaw and crew are delsusional at best, honestly DA2 doesnt deserve to break the top 5 on any platform and it probably wont.

Hopefully they fire Mike and try to get Brent back to do the game some justice.

1. COD is a good, albiet different game. You demonstrate your ignorance when you try to bash it.

2. How on earth is DA2 like COD in anyway shape of form? In one game you follow a tightly scripted story in which there is zero customization, fight from a FPP, and rely extensively on multiplayer. They really have nothing in common, other than that they are both good games.

I'm not happy, I wouldn't say that. But as someone on the forums once told me, in order to get what we want out of Bioware, 'we have to make the market serve us', if that means not buying the game then so be it.

No i agree completely bro, based soley on having to raise money for Imoen and having to fund the expedition; da2 might as well be bg2.

"The dog opened his mouth to get the other bone, and as he did,
the bone he already had fell into the water."
— Aesop 620-564 BC

They were greedy and not very intelligent about it, by trying to get another "bone", they lost the good "bone" they already had and came out with less than before.

Don't forget the constant respawns of enemies, nonexistant AI and very limited tactical choices.

And the other one is Call of Duty.

I doubt they'll reach the 10 million sales they want in order to consider the game "successful." Hopefully for DA3 they'll take the good things from DA2, bring back things from DA:O that were good but they took out, and add additional things that are beneficial rather than completely altering the game.
