I hope they forget about Dragon Age 2 and start to improve upon Origins to make Dragon Age 3 :P

Well, the more people that buy Dragon Age 2, the more cash will be allocated to create Drahon Age 3. So buy ten copies.

My personal opinion is that Bioware will take a long deep breath, clear the clutter from their desks. wipe the monitor screens clean, adjust the chairs for a better sit, and get down to creating a DA3 that will rock the world over.
Bioware has all the feedback they need now to make a truly epic game that will bring them back to glory.

And they will. :)

I would rather see a expansion to DA2 at this time.. A full sequel atm just doesn't seem necessary.

There must be a sequel to this, I need to know what might happen. And expansion now would be grand.

Not TOO soon. Let them take their time with the next one.

I would not mind DA3 having 2 characters to choose from: Warden and Hawke. After all, the story becomes complicated for just one game. Issues to deal with DA3: war with the Divine, mage circles rebelled, templars rebelled, the architect, war with the free marshes (qunari threat), those grey wardens on a more important mission in the end of act 2, Flemeth, Morrigan and her child with the soul of a god. So take your pick. I would prefer DA3 end the series taking care of the unfinished business mentioned above.

Interesting idea, but let's face it, absolutely NO ONE is gonna choose Hawke over the Warden!

It must have a sequel. Too many loose ends.

Give it more time. 2-3 years dev time hopefully.

Well if Bioware/EA didn't learn from DA 2, then DA 3 will be out about...2012, Summer perhaps sooner! And this time on release day you get DA 2 for free with it.

If DA3 has Hawke and is developed same way as DA2..... I am not buying it even after discounted prices...

If MY WARDEN returns then I may buy it but wont pre-order

BioWare doesn't have any more sequel to make. They already kick over the sand castle they just built to change and to show that this is dynamic space. DA 3 will likely be another DA 2 with more streamlined and tighter story. They want JRPG and COD player market badly. Their vision is GTA and Assassin Creed as their prime direction. So, my spider sense tell me there will be no character creation, no toolset, fixed male human character aka Ezio, auto dialogue for stronger and consistent personality protagonist, no inventory management, lightning reflex skills, explosive and flashy combat, completely linear storyline, no customize for companions, recycled maps for cost and time saving and lastly MMO option since CoD and WoW players like competition. Mike Laidlaw already considered the possibility of multiplayer option. ( Not sure if he refer to Co-op )

If DA 2 prove they can be successful with less time development and less cost, why not repeat the same formula? Didn't they say DA 2 sold more than a million in 2 weeks and faster than DAO sales? So bundled with free ME2, DA 2 look good to hit 8 million target in 6 months from their point of view. ( **sarcasm** ) If they succeed, they'll be rich. Or else, no hardcore CRPG MMORPG player going to invest their time and money with fixed predefined hollywood blockbuster character and without guns it's doubtful CoD players going to join in either. So the only large crowd of audiences that highly going to buy is JRPG players. Most JRPG players already move away from Square Enix anyway. Their dominant in single player RPG has not been challenged by WRPG ever since FF7 because most hardcore WRPG fans already buried themselves grinding 24/7 in WoW and other MMORPG to the point of no return. I might be returning to MMORPG myself if single player RPG is still dominated by JRPG.

I am just waiting for BioWare clarification on where DA 3 is heading. If there's any confirmation that DA3 does relate to what I write above, then I know the door on my way out is widely open for me. I hope I don't have to wait long because I have been anticipating Claudia Black's Morrigan in DA 3, months before DA 2 even released.

No. Not AND soon. Never say AND soon about any sequel to a game ever. They're going to finish Dragon age 2's story through DLC, which I won't be playing seeing as I already sold my copy. And then they SHOULD take AT THE VERY LEAST 3 years to make Dragon Age 3. If I see Dragon Age 3 before LATE 2014, I won't be buying.

That would quite possibly make for the worst game in the history of games.
